Easy, it's all in the oath. It's a little staccato but all the points are there.

(Yes) “I, , do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States (follows the law, defends the Constitution) against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; (follows the law) that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. (faithfully executes lawful orders issued by the elected President of the United States without equivocation) So help me God.”

The DoJ and the FBI are standing up as institutions and individuals in supporting their primary allegiance to the Constitution.

    Bears repeating.........

Thank you for pointing out how your definition does not meet the actual law. None of the emboldened is considered part of the law. The oath swearer adheres to the Constitution, which is the duty of those who take the Oath. If the President is violating the Constitution and the law, then those who take the Oath must oppose him. It is required by the law.

Simple rule of thumb ... see this avatar? Know what to expect. Bizzarre contrivances, glib remarks, and of course homophobic ad homs.

Well, Carter Page is suing Perkins Coie and the DNC and soon will be a very rich man because of the phony Democrat run Russian collusion scam. If I were Mueller, I would end this now and slink away. The Democrats are in huge trouble. The DNC is already in financial trouble and when Page wins this lawsuit, the DNC will be done and Perkins Coie will be ruined.

CARTER PAGE SUES DNC AND ITS LAW FIRM OVER THE STEELE DOSSIER
Former Trump campaign associate Carter Page filed a defamation lawsuit Monday against the Democratic National Committee and its law firm, which commissioned the infamous Steele dossier.

Page filed the suit in federal court in Oklahoma against the DNC, the law firm, Perkins Coie, and two of its partners, Marc Elias and Michael Sussmann.

The dossier wasn't the basis for the FISA warrants, it was one of the supporting documents for the renewal of those warrants. A subtle yet significant distinction.

So if they squeeze him hard enough, will they eventually squeeze Putin out of his arse? And reveal the greatest conspiracy in recent american history, that trump and putin conspired in order to beat the unbeatable democrat candidate? That would be quite a conspiracy. And one that even our most powerful intel, 19 of them, could not discern. And that is even with our NSA gathering and storing all communication that takes place within america with the ability to pull it up with a few keystrokes. Well, some people have claimed trump is a genius, and clearly it would take an genius to pull such a conspiracy off, in this Orwellian National Security State. I guess his haters might have to admit that trump is a genius, instead of a dolt, given he was able to fool the entire intel apparatus and make them look like inept fools. Right under their noses.

Of course, it may turn out that the only yield that comes from squeezing trump jr is that those squeezing will have to change clothes and get a hot shower, given fecal matter tends to soil clothing and renders quite an objectionable particular smell. The smell of sh*t. Yet this would be seen as some kind of victory by some, generally of the sore loser variety. ha ha. Some of these kinds of people still think that catching manafort for past criminal behavior, but unrelated to the trump campaign, proves that trump conspired with russia and putin. ha ha. Of course that looks more like an incoherence in brain activity, and perhaps we have meds that will correct dysfunction in brain activity. So it is treatable but not sure of the success rates with these new class of drugs that head doctors are using these days.

    believing the Truth? Sure

The FISA Warrants in question were obtained in Oct of 2016 (not counting the 2013 FISA Warrants that may or may not have been extended https://www.justsecurity.org/59837/reports-carter-page-subject-fisa-warrant-2013-2014/). https://vault.fbi.gov/d1-release/d1-release/view (the day is marked out, but good ol US structure is month-day-year. 10-blank-16)

The Steel Dossier's first of 17 reports were filed on June 20th of 2016.

So unless someone figured out time travel, you would be wrong on this particular point.

You're analogy about Fisa's and Page way back in 2013 doesn't fly because the things that took place before June were when Page was working for the FBI and the FBI were trying to nail some Russians that Page helped them with. All the Dossier stuff was being put together in 2016. No one knows all the complete details yet, not until Trump declasses it.

Uh...that wasn't an analogy. It was to note that Page had other seperate FISA warrant's against them. I noted that these weren't the same ones.

The first Warrant, as evidenced by the Declassified Warrant itself shows it was applied for in Oct of 2016. Steele joined Fusion GPS and submitted his first of 17 reports in June of 2016 and then notified the FBI in July of 2016.

So yeah, not sure how you can still dispute this single fact.

What would Carter Page Sue for? The dossier said he went to Russia and spoke to Russian Intel officials, which is EXACTLY WHAT HE DID.

Plus, I don't know how a spy can claim his reputation was damaged.
