Barr does demonstrate Trump's fault of making bad appointments and making appointments from the swamp who then stab him in the back.

Yup. And these aren't Democrats saying these things, these are people who believed in Trump when they accepted positions on his staff - they
only turned on him AFTER they had worked with him for awhile. And that doesn't even give trumpinestas the slightest pause in their
adoration. That's what I don't get. If 5 people from Biden's staff come out in the next few months saying Biden is no longer fit to serve, then
I would call for serious investigations on Biden.

I get that Trump is probably not a likeable person. But so what? Jimmy Carter was very likeable. But a disaster.

Revelations from the Barr book, et al, strike me as an organized information operation, aka manipulation of the masses I doubt that Barr actually wrote his book any more than Obama actually wrote "Dreams From My Father."

Except that, in the case of Trump, his followers believed that he truly cared about them. They said they FINALLY had a POTUS who cared about the little guy. It was, of course, a load of garbage - but far too many swallowed it whole.

Exactly. Barr is no different that Trump was when it comes to using people to get what you want. Barr signed on to work for Trump when it was professionally beneficial to himself, yet he only now tells the real story ?

All due respect GM, but there are WAYYYYYY to many examples of the very things Barr is now admitting to, to claim anything but that these were real experiences for him. The idea that Trump was doing anything other than feeding his own narcissism while executing his powers as president goes against the mans own public history. The man has a very public and well documented history of narcissism his entire life, and to now claim that because Barr points it out he is betraying some "principal" is ridiculous.

I have to disagree. While we cannot claim to know what he is thinking, his image was not one of a charismatic, likable leader. For me, its about the issues, so I really don't care. I don't like any politicians.
