Yes, I know. There are bad people in the world and people often murder each other. However it's only Muslims who are committing terrorism while following a book which encourages these killings.

Don't know why Jews are being mentioned any more than Christians, Hindus or Atheists should be mentioned. What's your point? The subject is Islamists and the terror they create.

 

Do you see any commonality between these religious terrorist fanatics? Any religious connections at all? Or has it become the religion that dares not speak its name?

 

they all believe in the Abrahamic God? they seem to be the biggest offenders... and right now the Muslims Fanatics seem to be the king of the hill, with some Christians and some Jews still committing some religious violence yet

Just for the fun of it download a electronic version of the bible and do a search on the word kill and then try to tell me that Muslims are the only one who have a religion book that deal with killings and murders in the name of a god.

Footnote as far as the so called golden rule check out how after Moses came down from the mountain top the first time with the ten commandments an found his people misbehaving he broke the tablets an order his personal followers to kill among his people until their arms was too tired to wheel a sword any longer.

Muslim fanatics are the 'king of the hill'?

Billions of people all over the world believe in a God of some sort but none in the modern world are encouraging their fellow believers into murdering others. People will kill for political purposes also and Islam manages to combine the worst of both worlds.

 

Christians been there done that.... convert or kill was a Christians theme too

LOL killings in the name of some god is a human constant and only the groups doing the most killings at any given time is in a state of flux.

Given history Islam is a far more peaceful religion then Christianity on the whole over time.

 

Religious fanatics and political fanatics are much the same. But citing religion persecution from the past in the contemporary world is a deliberate attempt to avoid a discussion on Islam and what the world faces today.

Islam is a crap religion, probably the worst in world history, and those poor people who suffer under it, unable to live their lives in freedom, are the victims. The democracies should not be made victims either.

 

We don't live 1000 years ago. We live in the world of today and must therefore deal with the problems of today.

There's likely a history section somewhere on this board, and a religious section, but the idea here is to deal with the topic under discussion. Can you do that?

the truth is, time..... time for much of the religious fanatics to die off or be killed... sad but true - a new generation takes over and things change..... sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse

there is over 1 billion Muslims and over 1 billion Christians, a religious war is not the answer

Muslims and Christians are the biggest religions by far, a religious war between the two groups is not the answer
