Yea, i think slur is about intent, not content.

 

I have the Wiki article open now. It says nothing about it being a derogatory slur.

IF Musk follows his own word cop policy to ban slur words, then it's only right that he bans the word, "cis" and "cisgender".

 

There's nothing more than a term made up by the alphabet community to try to divide people.

It's just another word for a normal person who is aware they are the sex that they have between their legs.

 

Then how is it inaccurate? How is it a slur? You are literally saying that it accurately describes all "normal people."

 

It's not innately a slur, but it tends to be thrown around by folks who use it to put you in your place and let you know you're not entitled to an opinion on certain subject matters because your gender and gender identity happen to match up with each other.

The derogatory nature that gets associated with comes most often from the tone of the person using it, not innately from the term itself.

I know what it is meant to mean. But it actually has no meaning to a thinking person. Whoever is not like me is a cis. Glad to hear it. It means nothing to me.

Is that a screenshot you took? I'd never accuse you over faking a screenshot, but they are EXTEREMELY easy to fake. And no, it isn't a "deep fake." You can fake a screenshot just using your browser functions. It's easy as hell. Just use the developer function. For the purposes of a screenshot, you can make a website say whatever you want in a just by opening this function and typing stuff in. No photoshop required. No "deep fake" required. You'd need nothing but your browser. Now, again, if you were the one who took this, I believe this. If you got it from someone else, they could have easily faked it. Scammers use this technique all of the time.

 

When somebody says something to me in Spanish I tell them, "No hablo Espainiel", with special emphasis on the "h" sound in "hablo" so they know I mean it.

Then you are saying you are the one who took the screenshot? If that's the case, I have no reason to doubt you. If you got the image from someone else, then I doubt the image because they are so easy to fake. A junior high kid could do it without any software beyond just their browser itself. But if you took the screenshot, I believe you that this is what Wikipedia used to say.

Now that I agree with. Cissy is a slur. Though it isn't about heterosexuality.
