how about the fact that more marriages are ending in divorce and that the use of contraceptives in marriage and before lead to strained relationships because of a lack of trust between the two partners. How about when more people are having sex because they believe in the "infallibility" of contraceptives which results in more unwanted pregnancy's which result invariably in more abortions. Look at the rate of birth due to contraceptives vs Natural family planning. Natural family planning has a failure rate of .004% when properly practiced using no contraceptives

I think that the use of contraceptives has a negligible (if any) affect on the divorce rate. There are many reasons for the rise in the divorce rate, but contraceptives causing a lack of trust isn't really one of them as far as everything I've read shows.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "more people are having sex". Do you mean that the same people are having sex more often? If you mean that more people are depending on contraceptives and having sex than did in the past I think that you are sorely mistaken. It may be true that more people are having sex than used to, but they, in general, certainly aren't getting pregnant because of the proper use of contraceptives.

I'd like to know where you got your numbers. What I've found indicates a failure rate of between two and ten percent with perfect use.

No they actually do not. You have failed repeatedly to show any proof of this silly notion of yours.

There you go again with your inane rants. I provided as much proof as was provided to support the initial assertion.

I provided the reason for my opinion in reply to another opinion. That you were not able to understand that is not surprising, still if you wish to further dwell on this by all means, which aspect you do wish further elaboration on?

So yet again you have nothing relevant or intelligent to contribute. Why not then participate ONLY in those threads where your capacity and knowledge allow you to be relevant?
