"More than at any time in history, the president of the United States is actively using the power and prestige of his office to line his own pockets: landing loans for his businesses, steering wealthy buyers to his condos, securing cheap foreign labor for his resorts, preserving federal subsidies for his housing projects, easing regulations on his golf courses, licensing his name to overseas projects, even peddling coffee mugs and shot glasses bearing the presidential seal. For Trump, whose business revolves around the marketability of his name, there has proved to be no public policy too big, and no private opportunity too crass, to exploit for personal profit."

"Trump refuses to disclose the details of his myriad business operations, he continues to enjoy access to every dime he makes as president. Instead of setting up a blind trust to avoid conflicts of interest, as other presidents have done, Trump put his two grown sons in charge of his more than 500 business entities. His sons regularly brief Trump about how the enterprises are doing, enabling him to personally monitor how his decisions in office affect his bottom line"

"Trump’s children are working hard to cash in on his time in office — especially with foreign investors. At taxpayer expense, they have flown to Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, Dubai, and India in search of licensing and real-estate deals, trading on the president’s influence in exchange for investments."

If the Democrats win the House this November, fifty fifty at this point, the Don is done, the ethic investigations coming from everywhere will make the seven year BenghaziGate charade look like amateur hour

    Haha.

Democrats opposed every single MAGA initiative that has improved the country and put money in people's pockets.

They are right now engaged in a bigoted movement of hate designed to strip people of their rights.

And they preface articles about our President with an image portraying him as a pig.

You think your party is taking back the House?

You think there are that many bigoted scumbags in America?

    GOOD ****ING LUCK!

Now there's a talk radio rhetoric response, always a give away when they start invoking "taking away rights"

Hate to tell you pal, but the House next year is up for grabs, and if it goes Democrat, your man is in trouble

Call him whatever you want, nobody cares as long as he’s making business easier on Americans and building our military back up after the most anti military president we’ve had gutted them.

How is he making "business easier on Americans?" And don't reply with deregulation, which so far is more eliminating consumer protections than lessen barriers, the only businesses making out like bandits are those supported by big time lobbyists

And the military was depleted as the Don likes to portray, even under Obama, the military budget of the US was twice that of any other nation in the world

You're looking at this with hyper-partisan blinders on.

If there was anything that would actually be legal and proper to impeach Trump with then it would have been presented already.

Face it, impeachment is a wet dream.

The left runs on hate, its fueled by bigotry, it thrives on prejudiced, and its powered by ignorance.

They program you to hate Trump and then they drip feed you the hope of impeachment so you'll go out and vote for them.

They just want to be n power.

Ask yourself this question: What has a Democrat ever done but make things worse so they can then sell a fix?

You'll have no answer for me.

That’s nothing, since the US military is far more powerful and advanced then any of those nations combined.

The good news? It’s only getting better with the increased funding they are getting.

    No doubt....

The Senate is not even a lock to remain GOP.. Per the Senate analysis I read the other day.... When you add the seats not up for election to the predicted fall results, the Senate is going to come down to 6 races to determine the makeup

    Currently D
    Indiana - Donnelly
    Missouri - McCaskill
    N. Dakota - Heitkamp
    W. Virginia - Manchin

    Currently R
    Arizona - Flake (Open)
    Nevada - Heller

    That's pretty close

Now I understand why the R's are asking Corker of Tennessee to "unretire" as I understand his seat could go D based on current polls...

If you want to post propoganda and hate, I suppose that's your right.

But it has nothing to do with the OP, or the subject of this thread.

So, blatant corruption is OK with you.

As long as Wall Street and the military industrial complex get what they want!

Trump can steal, sell his office, and his cornies can put their lobbyist friends in prime jobs to loot the public till.

But as long and the man on the AM radio shouts at how good things are, you'll raise your right hand and shout your alliegance to Der Furher!

What you call “blatant corruption” is your temper tantrum that you have been throwing since election night. Nobody takes your 8yr old feet stomping seriously Tom, get over it.

Your Hitler reference is still funny, albeit pathetic/worn out.

This whole outrage about the President’s companies doing business while he is President is just stupid. If it is NOW considered wrong, then the legislature needs to make it very clear for future elections so future candidates will know you cannot earn money from the private sector while in public office. Too many past Presidents have to all of a sudden try to impeach a President you don’t like with this issue.

The hate of the left has reached record levels.

Nobody really knows how much China or Russia actually spend on anything. Same with the Saudis. China is probably spending a **** ton more than any of us think. Its all garbage, because they can't design anything without stealing the patents, but they can create a lot of it.

Dumbest thing I've read in a while. Ever wonder how the Clintons went into the Presidency with little but somehow after 8 years were rich? What about he Obama's, let's see he was a social worker and never had a real job yet somehow is now filthy rich how do you square that one? Like my father always said Republican Presidents come into office rich, Democrat Presidents leave the office rich. Keep up your daily ignorance it's really entertaining watching it get debunked.

Sorry, but examples of the blatant corruption is all around and easy to see.

Trump insiders are making little effort to hide what they are doing either, complacent in the knowledge that no pesky congresional investigations will get in their way.

Scott Pruitt and Ryan Zinke are busy putting oil and gas industry lobbyists in key regulatory and stewardship positions, and have every intention of giving away the public's national resources at fire sale prices. Trump even tried to give away offshore oil leases until the governors stopped him.

You didn't see anyone on Congress say one peep about Ryan Zinke's attempt to hand a no bid contract to one of his friends to rebuild the electrical grid in Puerto Rico, did you?

You only see phress stories about the first class travel, the insider dealing, and the growing evidence of widespread graft.

Of course , the first family is at the top of the list. Jared Kushner tried to shop a bailout deal for himself to Saudi Arabia, China, and just about anyone else he thought he could tap by peddling his access to Trump.

Trump is raking it in off of the new improved pricing at a few of his resorts. And since he is the beneficiary of the trust, and can revoke it at any time, he is still in charge. Nothing like it has happened in US politics since the Grant Administration.

Nobody complained when industry lobbyists wrote a major tax reform bill and McConnell shoved it through Congress in less than three weeks without a single hearing, and virtually no debate. And it's not hard to see why, given the goodies Wall Street awarded itself. No one sees to notice that all the Wall Street recruits have
silently left the Trump White House. Their work is done. Their bonuses are secure.

One of the ugly constants of the Trump phenomena is an inner conviction that it won't last. So all the hangers on, the insiders and the grifter are working furiously to get their business done quickly.

    They didn't come out rich.

But being an ex President usually does have rewards.

Cashing in on being an ex President has been a constant since Herbert Hoover.

The only one that didn't actually do it was Harry Truman, and Jimmy Carter to a lessor extent. The rest either died too soon (Roosevelt, Kennedy, Reagan, Johnson) or were disgraced (Nixon).

But they didn't come into office promoting themselves and trying to cash in while in office.

That is exactly what Trump is doing.

You know it too. If you didn't, you wouldn't have bothered with this worthless attempt at excusing it.

We know EXACTLY how The Obama’s made their money. THEY released their taxes so we could find out. Book deals and speaking fees.

We have no idea where all Trump’s money is coming from because he is hiding his tax returns.

Congress said that its impossible for any president or vice president not to have a conflict of interest so they made those rules not apply to those two.

Guess you missed that in civics class.
