Yes, everything from Israel has to be read with skepticism and with good reason. Israel has a long history of lying.

On the other hand, Palestinian death counts in Gaza have always been confirmed by both Israel and the U.S. in previous conflicts after the conflict has been resolved.

And names matter. Names allow people to verify and discover bullshit. Take the NYT article on the rapes. The main rape victim who was named was not raped. How do we know this? The family of the of the supposed victim said she wasn't and gave physical evidence that she was dead prior to the make-believe events in the article.

The Israelis have named a single baby in their list of victims. One minor detail - It is a Palestinian baby.

So you show an article with a burnt something. Even unblurred, the "baby", if it is that, obviously did not die due to weapons Hamas carried. The other baby pictured could be the one baby killed and actually listed. We have no clue how that baby died.
