The US criminal/justice system (including the CIA) is based on conspiracies and conspiracy theories. Many have lucrative careers where they're taught all about conspiracies and conspiracy theories and require mastery of that discipline. The OCT is a conspiracy theory. Those who poke fun at and/or criticize/denigrate conspiracy theorists don't have any clue what they're doing. It's incredibly amazing (not to mention hypocritical) that the CIA successfully weaponized the term, it goes to show the gullibility of many OCT defenders.

It isn't the architecture or engineering of the towers that needs to be investigated. The Bush Administration is probably happy to let you investigate those things all you want.
And we'll never get an investigation, but I am fairly convinced 9/11 was a joint Rumsfeld/Cheney/Neocon/Mossad/bin Laden operation. Yes, they all had a lot to gain when you think about it. bin Laden wanted to confront the West for years and Israel has ALWAYS wanted to drag the U.S. into their mess. Sharon was absolutely giddy on 9/11. And Bush told Rumsfeld/Cheney to "do what you have to do, just don't tell me about it." The famous Reagan ploy.
Yeah just like the OCT. The difference is that it's someone's opinion and has no consequence, the OCT is the official party line and the consequences are deadly.
remember how Alex Jones published an interview between Charlie Sheen and Obama about 9-11???? that was amazing!!! and then it turned out it was completely fake.
they admitted the interview was fake, TWO HOURS after publishing it and getting the 9-11 Truther community very excited.
remember that very old 9-11 Truther video "In Plane Sight"? talked about the supposed "bulge" under the 757 that hit the tower? turns out, ALL 757s have that bulge. its where the wheels go. it was on the front cover of the video. haha!!!
Judy Wood was a pretty funny Truther. she thinks microwaves, from space, destroyed the towers. LOL!!!!
I think you've missed a few things. As an example, I would like to point out Ron's post #17 in this thread. In your response to him, you only quoted his last sentence, but it's his first sentence that I found the most interesting: He went into a fair amount of detail as to why he went back to the official story, but what -I'd- like to know is, what got him to believe in 9/11 Truth for a few months back in 2003?
So did I upon first reading but it's an empty claim, if true. So the credibility is lacking. And the end result was that he believes what I said he believes (unless he's faking), that at the end of the day, the only truth is what the US government says is true. Like I said, an empty claim. If he's for real and that easily swayed he never wanted to believe (or accept that) the US government lied about 9/11 in the first place. And more importantly, he regularly and rigorously defends the OCT and the storytellers and insults those who contradict/question it. That's even more telling. This is really off topic IMO, it has nothing to do with the thread topic.

She calls it "dustification". Then again, aliens and UFOs doing 9/11 is more plausible. Not many believe Judy Wood's theory, which she claims is fact based. For me the bottom line is that the US government lied about 9/11 (this is irrefutable, the proof is overwhelming) and the towers were destroyed by much more than fire and airplanes.
What do you mean by "it's an empty claim"? First of all, if he disbelieved the official story for a few months, it proves at the very least that he has not always believed that what the US government is necessarily true. Second of all, as mentioned previously, I haven't seen him say that he currently believe whatever the government says is true either. I've never wanted to believe that the US government lied about 9/11 myself. It's just that I've come to believe that it makes the most sense, given the evidence. He is claiming that for a brief amount of time, he actually disbelieved the government's story as well. I think knowing why could be quite interesting. What do you believe it's telling of? It may seem that way, but I don't really think it is. What we're getting into is why people believe what they believe concerning 9/11. It's hard to persuade anyone of anything concerning 9/11 if you don't really understand why they hold their current beliefs and/or why their views have changed over time.
That's not nearly as funny as what my brother thinks!!! He thinks airliners were hijacked and crashed into the towers and pentagon. I love him dearly, but he is as gullible as they come.

I never wanted to believe the US government lied about 9/11 either but reality is reality, one has to face it or live in fantasyland. His true position. You're asking those who rabidly defend the OCT and attack those who don't to tell you what their beliefs are based on. I don't believe any one of them is genuine so IMO you'll never get an answer that's real, or the answer is untrustworthy. The topic is "9/11: What really happened on that day?". It's worded that way for those don't believe the OCT to post their beliefs as to what happened, not for OCT cheerleaders to parrot the OCT.
