A lighthearted look at the FLOTUS, Vol. IV

That is one (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up outfit. Gawd.

 

Ok, so I thought about this for a while, and came up with the following. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Compression garments for weight loss

 

That boob belt looks like it's there to remind her NOT to eat too much cake.

And WHY is that dress stuck between her legs???

 

Here's Mrs. O's 'gush report' on the outfit:

The President and First Lady traveled to New York City today for the United Nations General Assembly. On the fashion front, Mrs. O mixed bold print and color in her ensemble. A multi print silk placket dress by Duro Olowu, last seen on Oprah, here, was paired with a vibrant yellow cardigan, red belt and orange flats. A structured navy bag completed the early autumn look.

P.S. Here's to the new season from the White House squirrel! This photo was snapped as the President and First Lady left Washington.

If you think women's fashion has ANY practicality.....well you have some serious issues........

 

maybe it doesn't have any praciticality then, it is just her style my apologies

 

MO's the one who should apologize... it's a dreadful look.

On a brighter note, the O's had a big fundraising party at Gotham Hall in NYC. Here's the scoop from Michelle's Mirror:

Sorry, but it looks like to me they're trying too hard to convince us what a happy couple they are. Those who have it, don't feel it's necessary to flaunt it. If she wants us to think she adores him, she'd practice not glaring at him the other 365 days of the year.

 

This is .... to much to handle first thing in the morning .... this outfit is .... is ..... I'm at a loss for words to describe this atrocity.... this is one of the worst .... I'm going back to bed......

 

The purse. The ugly, navy blue granny purse. It's like taking the worst outfit in the world, and making it a little worse by carrying that purse. What was she thinking???

 

I'm back up - have to start my day sometime.....

Smartie, I don't think anything could make that gawdawful outfit worse - not a purse, shoes, hat - nothing! She could not have the purse and she would still look like a .... I'm trying to be polite, but..... well, you get the idea....

She is a total embarrassment, a bad tasteless joke forced on us. She looks like the proud Queen of Thriftstore sales..... those dam sweaters and boob belts. If she didn't have them, what would she do?

If I were her fashion adviser, I'd quit my job w/disgust and contempt.......

 

Ms Mirror sure has a way with words. Puts in in the right perspective every time.

 

I wish that man would get himself some MuscleMilk or something. She is bigger than he is. Looks at their arms in the hugging picture.

 

Jewelry like that simply looks junky and cheap.....and in the bottom pix, again she stands like an awkward teenager.......

 

You're not the only one who feels that way... she's on her 3rd or 4th 'fashion adviser.' No telling how much it's costing the taxpayers to hire people she doesn't listen to. (not unlike her ole man)

 

Notice how her arms go all the way 'round his back? It's like she's hugging a stick. Ugh, skinny men are a turnoff.

 

Perhaps she was thinking it would conveniently hold the items she wanted to carry? Perhaps she thought it was more attractive for that purpose than a Wal-mart sack?

 

You could be correct. It may be that time of the month, and she does not allow the aids to carry her personal items, like pads.

 

Some makeup would help her. Or maybe not.....

I think she'd look prettier out of the White House - when her hubby is NOT re-elected.

 

Butterscotch colored flats, blue purse and red belt...not hardly. No one can defend that mode of dress and say it works.

 

he is a bit on the lean side, is a sign he eats well and excercises alot by playing basketball.

 

Or snorts a lotta coke.

You forgot the yellow sweater. Looked like she fell into a vat of watercolors and came out dressed. Very tacky indeed.

 

It's like my mama always said, "Pretty is as pretty does." Michelle's attitude is what makes her unattractive. All the makeup in the world won't fix that problem.

 

You know what else keeps your figure? Smoking.

 

For once I would like to see the FLOTUS go total gettho, and let out a big afro, with platform shoes, get the hand and finger waving and the head bobbing. That would be hilarious.
