Comrade Putin loses about 1000 of his terrorists per day, some are killed, some are taken into captivity, and others are mutilated, unable to fight. Putin won't be able to keep up his war much longer, but he still has a small chance for victory - the US presidential election in 2024!

If Biden doesn't get a second term, it's possible that the next president will stop supporting Ukraine. Pooteen's wettest dream!

But on the other hand, if Biden stays President, we'll see that Putin will be ready to negotiate very quickly.

So do elect wisely, my American friends ... and save Ukraine! :)

I still can't identify anything in or about the Ukraine that is essential to US National Security. Heck, it was part of our worst enemy for decades. Its not NATO. What the heck are we doing defending Ukraine's borders while our own are wide open?

Your post ended with SAVE UKRAINE!

The WHY of that is exactly what I'm talking about... and WHY is totally relevant. I'm footing the bill as a taxpayer. And I'm watching our open border as we spend BILLIONS defending Ukraine's. WHY is totally relevant to everyone footing the bill... US TAXPAYERS.

It's the old conflict, democracy vs. autocracy, freedom vs. dictatorship, truth vs. communist propaganda lies.

If Putin wins he will continue to terrorize the world like Adolph Hitler. He can still be stopped, but later it will be all the more difficult. :(

So we should send billions to the Ayghurs? To Namibia? To Chad? To Venezuela? To every country in the world where freedom is threatened?

Hey, I'm paying the bills. I want such massive expenditures only when they can be directly linked to the National Security of the United States.

If you are honest you would admit that the Us. can afford to do both.

    With ease.

Ruzzia has nuclear weapons and considers the US its worst enemy since Soviet times. Putin is picking up where the SU left off. :(

Total BS. After WWII we were the only industrial power untouched by the war. If you wanted to buy a car, a train, a bus, a ship, a refrigerator, a truck or a car... you had to buy American. America was ridiculously rich. We got in the habit of funding much of the world. That has all changed now. Those days are OVER. Our National Debt today is greater than our GDP for the first time since WWII. Inflation is making many of our citizens live paycheck to paycheck, one $400 emergency away from bankruptcy. Our streets and sidewalks are filled with homeless people. Millions of American kids go to bed hungry now,

    No... we cannot afford it.

I don't want Ukrainians to feel hurried and pressured. Hasty moves will only lead to mistakes and higher losses. It's hard enough for them to learn combined arms tactics and integrate a bunch of new equipment and training without that pressure. What we give them will also go a longer way if they're not hastily throwing it at the occupiers in some desperate bid to make spectacular progress in a short time.

So, I don't want them feeling as though they have to beat the clock on 2024 and worry that the next US administration, assuming Biden is defeated, will pull the plug on support. I do worry that Trump would, but I don't think he has much chance of winning if he does get nominated. It would be kind of hard for him to do his job from prison anyway.

Nope, America benefited from WW2 like no other country, thanks to the war economy and clever (Jewish) immigrants who had been expelled by the Nazis.

    Ruzzia too, sadly. :)

You have no way of knowing what the future holds. Remember when the "experts" said that there would be a "Domino Theory" of country after country falling to the Communists if South Viet Nam fell? Well... that didn't happen, did it?

It is easy to observe that the Russian Army is a paper tiger in many ways. From the first incursion into the Ukraine towards Kyev, when their tanks lined up bumper to bumper and just STOPPED, allowing Javelin gunners to cut them to pieces, to the ensuing operations which have pretty consistently ended in failure... any threat of extending the operation into NATO territory where they would be outgunned and outmaneuvered... is pretty remote. The British forces poised in the Baltic States to capture St Petersburg would do a lot to end any venture into NATO territory in fairly short order. But in any case, your scenario is unlikely with NATO ready to go.

What does disturb me, is our seemingly endless depletion of our war stocks.. our weaponry. We have depleted most of our reserves, even our POMCUS stocks. This "Prepositioning of Materiel Configured in Unit Sets" is gear sitting stored within the borders of our NATO allies, designed to be matched up with American military personnel when they fly into Europe in case war actually threatens. Our equipment being depleted in this manner is an essential ingredient in the Sino-Russian plan for China to invade Taiwan and possibly lots more, establishing control of the Pacific region. We'll have little to fight them with.

I have been in defense my whole life. Let me assure you that "long lead item" components of things like Javelins and Stingers make them time consuming to replace. I am not short sighted about what is going on at all. But by thinking this is just about Europe may indicate you are a bit myopic. Have you noticed the huge naval maneuvers being conducted jointly by the Chinese and Russians in the Aleutian area as we speak?

Economic reality is that most American citizens have always lived paycheck to paycheck. There never was a time when a majority of Americans were well off.

As for the national debt, it has nothing to do with inflation or why some number of people manage their personal finances poorly.

We have not depleted our stocks. That is some alarmist nonsense right there.

And who cares about Russian and Chinese naval maneuvers? Any attempt to use that hardware against us would not last long or bear much fruit, including in a Taiwan war scenario.

We aren't giving enough to Ukraine to make any appreciable dent in our national budget. It's chump change, really.

Paying off of loans of "elites" sounds like pure BS.

And have you noticed that the Chinese have been unhappy with Comrade Pooteen lately?

China's not a friend of Ruzzia, only interested in its own advantages.
The Communist International Movement was yesterday. :)

Cambodia is a Constitution Monarchy... not communist. Laos is communist, but not aligned with China or Russia as was feared. Viet Nam was actually invaded by China in the late 90's. Viet Nam kicked their butt. So although communist... no "Domino Theory" of a united communist alliance threatening the world.

China isn't a friend of Russia? Russia is China's biggest trading partner. They conduct huge joint military exercises. China is providing Russia with war materiel forr its Ukraine war. Sounds pretty buddy-buddy to me.

Comrade Putin mourns his lost SU for a long time. He's dangerous as always. Please don't confuse him with a normal President. He's a gangster who knows no mercy.
