The people who instituted this policy were about as Totalitarian as you can get. They clearly hate anything that even might be seen as even vaguely American or even human for that matter.

The $450,000 shouldn't be a settlement but a down payment. There should be no limit on the amount that Trump etal should be made to pay for this heartless and criminal act.

The issue on agreement or disagreement falls on if the plaintiffs deserve massive life changing cash for this. I think you were on the affirmative on this, while I think it's an absurd lawsuit that if common sense prevailed, would be thrown out immediately and the plantiffs deported.
