If there is one thing we know absolutely it is that Jesus abominated the conservatives and teabags of his time and saw almost no hope for the rich, which is what so many Americans long to be. I agree they were cheating the poor, but I thought it was done through coin clipping before the transaction instead of the flat fee. Can you please cite where in the Bible it says that the money changers were charging a flat fee to change into shekels?

Jesus wanted people to find it within themselves to go out of their way and help people. Nowhere in the bible does it say "and if you don't feel like doing that, just force your government to do it for you so that nobody has to give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about anyone else". Also, the Democratic Party constantly discriminates against Jesus so he'd be preaching to the Democratic Party and voting Republican

Jesus wanted people to come to the faith willingly and without coersion.
That is the landscape Democrats pursue. They don't want to keep anyone from Jesus. They simply don't want Him forced upon anyone. I think Jesus would like that open playing field of ideas.

He was teaching the people how to cope with the Roman occupation.

Frankly I don't see either Conservatives or Liberals in general practising this.

Unless it is the goal of many posters here to have others not have any respect for them, or their opinions.

I think Jesus would be aghast at the behaviour of many who call themselves Conservative Christians and many who call themselves Liberal Christians.

I think Jesus would condemn anyone wrapping themselves in his name and considering themselves superior to anyone else.

 

Jesus didn't join in with the Roman occupation, nor would he join in with the commie mindset like did MLK, nor would he join in with current day occupiers whose main agenda is to wreak havoc over our cities. Jesus was a peaceful GOD who favored segregating the people.

 

Even if segregation isn't law, people tend to stick to their own kind. Differences with progressives is they're forcing assimilation on us and it is having unintended consequences that they don't understand how to deal with. Come on Liberals, let us be. Hypocrites.
