    With my conservative hat on:
We conservatives are mostly W.A.S.P., and christian, we believe everything the jewish broadcast media in the USA says, we like FOX news, and consider them to be the truth. We don't like any kind of forigners invading the USA, and we don't like Muslims because of our moral teachings. What the jewish owned and operated broadcast media shows us is the muslim people of Turkey. We also don't like the Orient Express Movie, and we think Turky people are evil. And our conservative hatred is based on heresay and that is it. To us, anyone with a gown and a turbin is a terorist. We are not well educated, but we get by living in a safe environment with only people of our kind.

    With my liberal hat on:
We too see only the bad stuff about Turkey, because the TV and entertainment industry is owned and operated by people who have aligence to their isreal home land. But we see through the propaganda and are more intelligen in our ealuation of media and we have different views of muslim people, in fact we even talk to and know some. Plus we also like soccer.

    With my neutral hat on:
I have no problem with Turkey people or the bird. Turkey is not in huge financial debt, and they are not controled by the isreal influence we in the USA see. In fact, Turky is a country that is looking and planning for the future of it's people, they support and ally with countries that have great growth potential and will become the new economic leaders of the world in a few years. I also view Turkey to have the balls and step up against terrorist, and others who violate human rights. Also, Turkey is one of the only countries in the Arab world that have allowed refugees form others into their country and have taken care of them. Turkey has some great culture and society, and will oneday become a major economic power with China, India, the Arab World, the UAE, and most of Africa. Why, because they know how to care for others in onther countries. And they will support what is moraly right. Because Turkey is emerging well and helping out others, their oppostion from isreal will increase, as the isrealies do nothing to aid or help anyone other than themselves, and they are starting to lose their puppet heads of State in the region. As isreal declines further, the more radical they will become. Eventually, they will end up in a war, because that is what religion tells them to do.

In answer to your question, Turkey is an ally of the U.S. We have U.S. troops stationed in Turkey. I don't see any reason that a change in political power here would have and effect on that. What are you worried about?

Would you have it any other way? Are you insinuating that you actually want the US poking its nose about Turkey's affairs?

Actually some of the conservatives here claimed that Turkey has no friend in the US and when conservatives come to power, the US will poke its nose about Turkey's affairs.

This is why I created the thread and asked the question.

Here's the answer by me regarding a similar question in another thread.

I like American people, they are great nation. But at the same time so many Americans are far from being conscious of what's really going on in the world, which is, sometimes, a good thing. So,the vast majority of the American people probably don't even know that there's a country called Turkey in the world. Tiny portion of the population that heard Turkey probably don't know where it is and what Turks are like, even when they learned something about Turkey, they got it wrong because they don't really care.

So, saying that Turkey has no friends in the US makes no sense at all.

There are some people in the US who know Turkey really well though. Many of them work in the Pentagon, If you want to know. And they are the friends of Turkey.
