Aside from all the battles in court in Florida a question keeps nagging at me. We know what the government would use secret documents for but what need of T****'s is satisfied by his keeping them? Not president any more so he couldn't act on any of them. Sharing them with foreign governments would definitely be bad as apparently some would expose clandestine agents. Not good as toilet paper which was abundant again by then anyway. Not exactly light reading. Why would he need them? Unless the sharing bit above was for money, say a $2 billion "loan" to his son in law and daughter from a foreign government. So the query is to his supporters, what possible legitimate use could he have for them? I can think of a lot of bad things but no positive one.
The only "excusable" reason I can think of would be if he kept them in error. But that is clearly not the case given that he refused to return them when the fact that there was no reason for him to have them (and that it would be illegal) was pointed out to him. And he even tried to hide them.
Judge Cannon is on "call", she doing a lot of very deep thinking and changing her staff. Her most recent genius "idea" is to let the jury decide on each and every classified document if it should be his or not?! The case if it ever completes will take as long as Trump is alive ! And, as the jury dies off due to old age, they will be replaced one by one and the trial will have to restart every time.
More defense of the Precious ? Sure we do. The FBI found them when they executed their search warrant. Now let's use a little Gomer-esque technique: Why doesn't the Orange Stain just "clear things up" under oath about these documents ? Don't you think that the American people deserve an explanation as to why he made off with classified documents, showed them to at least one of his millionaire friends, left them unsecured for all of America's worst enemies to break in and examine, and then refused to return them when offered the opportunity ? Why don't you want an explanation of this behavior ? ( Cha-ching, now I owe a royalty payment to @Bluesguy for using his material. Ah well, I can always claim "fair use" )
He's openly admitted that he took the documents. Repeatedly. The only one denying that he had them is you.
Well, there's already some evidence that Trump exposed clandestine agents while in office, but I think that was more out of ignorance than malice. Honestly, though, I think he mostly kept them around as souvenirs to show off. Which is, of course, still dangerous.
So you are saying that the intelligence community was spying on Democrats? I thought you guys said that was evil. And if that was his goal, why doesn't he say so . . . and why hasn't he exposed anything?
It wasn't documented, if it happened at all. And it wouldn't matter. Declassifying doesn't magically make them personal. No previously classified document is personal. I look forward to you explaining how a once classified document is not an official document related to the office. I'm sure you will be quite creative.
I didn't say it 100% happened. I'm saying there is at least some evidence that it happened. There's a reason you cropped that part out. If you request again in an honest way, I'll answer.
Fake answer. We have no evidence that Biden's case was intentional. We have mountains of evidence of intent with Trump.
The fact that you are the only person in existence claiming Trump didn't have the documents. Not even Trump believes you.
Actually declassifying them makes them NOT "MARKED" classified.... how soon we forget... there are no court documents that say he had declassified documents. Trump declassified the documents... a signed copy sits in the federal register https://www.federalregister.gov/doc...to-the-fbis-crossfire-hurricane-investigation https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/DCPD-202100044/pdf/DCPD-202100044.pdf
