If we have the right to life, do we have the right to die? Which would be greater, the right to life or the right to die? If we do not have a right to die, why should we have a right to life?
I should have the right to live if I wish to live, and I should also have the right to die if I so wish. It's my body and my choice, and no one should even think about denying me that. I also have the right to decide if I value my own life over the life of an embryo.
No. Suicide is an abhorrent crime and should be punished by death. Jokes aside, right to voluntary euthanasia in case of untreatable illness causing suffering should be a basic human right. I am not sold off on right to die when you do not have such illness tough. Often these people have only temporary issues that can be helped.
Unless your death has a direct influence on the lives of others, including financial penalty. Don't like your life? Off yourself and leave your wife and kids with a mountain of debt!
