A store owner was killed over a Pride flag she flew in front of her California business

    What a tragedy. A mother of 9 lost her life because someone didn't like that she flew a flag pride outside her store. It's very sad and I cannot comprehend feeling the urge to kill someone over a pride flag.

    It sounds like she wasn't shot because of a flag, she was shot, sadly, over an argument that escalated. Remember, this is CA, they invented violent and deadly road rage.

    Unfortunately, some sick people in this world will kill another person over a petty argument over a rainbow flag. And the police had to take him out because he was one sick puppy!

    We don't know the whole story, so we don't know that the argument was just over a pride flag.

    Ultimately, the subject of the argument is irrelevant. There's nothing about it that justified the suspect killing Carleton.

    This is just one instance of the astounding uptick in violence against LGBTQ people, being fosterd by that hate speach of the repubican party.

    Please present quantitative data to support your "astounding uptick" claim. And then present examples of the hate speach you refer to, linking your uptick statistics to your hate speech examples. In other words, present a well reasoned argument.

    So the perp was shot by the police. Is there some reason they have not identified this person? Inquiring minds want to know. If the person is later identified, will he prove to be a stalwart MAGA Republican? Or some other different demographic?

    There are over 4 million gun owners in CA.

    Anti LGBT hatred has been normalized, and gays are portrayed as 'woke' and 'woke is portrayed as the greatest evil since commies and terrorists so I think this sort of thing will become more common.
