Ultimately, it was demography that lost Kosovo for Serbia. Also, we know, that Serbian national integrity requires that Kosovo is Serbian/Slavonic.

How about this for a deal. Serbia and Hungary make a deal that Slovakians get deported to Kosovo, and Serbia thereby retakes that newly re-slavonized land.

Since Slovakians have already deported 50 % of their population in 1945-1946, they would have no grounds to protest this deal. Hungary can then get back Upper Hungary, and Serbia can get back Kosovo. What's your take?

Serbs don't support any kind of action against Slovaks.
Why do you wish them to march down and commit mass suicide?Slovak fertility rate is 1.36 children born/woman (2010 est.), Albos who reside in our Southern Province of Kosovo and Metohija would run over them in no time. You've no idea what you're trying to deal with.

Wow, I am surprised that Serbia would not be interested.

By the way, don't you just hate Slovaks, considering that they are the only "nation" that found a way the legislatively criminalize the language of their neighbors?

I think Slovaks cound learn a LOT from Voivodina's (autonomous) multilingual administration. I would vote, that given Slovakia's recent legislative track record, Slovakia should not exist. It is also possible that Slovakia is simply a western trojan to divide the Balkan region and thus destroy the local economies there.

I think that you have completely lost it. Servia not that only lost Kosovo-which is now an independent country- but Vojvodina should be returned to Hungary and Croatia, Bosilegrad and Dimitrovgrad to Bulgary, Sandzak to Kosovo.... and Beligradski Pashaluk to servs ! This will bring on eternal peace in the Balkans !

I could see Dalmatia indpendent from Croatia...It has a seaport..

No, I am not DaVinci. International crime makes people unite against it even if the crime is as old as 1920 and the people uniting are as far as at opposite ends of the world. DaVinci is right, no matter who says so. I have never been to the Balkans, but you don't have to be a politician or a history major or a geography major to see that the entire region has all its borders exactly where they shouldn't, especially around Hungary. Albania/Kosovo is the 1st country that is trying to build some future, and that naturally starts with modifying these borders.

In my humble opinion, the Slovakia-Hungary border should be modified to the first 1918 cease-fire agreement, an independent Routhenia should be created, and the Romania-Hungary border should be redefined along the rivers Maros/Mures and Alt/Olt. That would finally represent the true ethnic landscape. But of course, the countries that France created in 1920, such as Serbia, Romania, and Slovakia, will oppose such normalization, to their death, because these 3 were established for the sole purpose of destabilizing the region. And considering how successful this has become to indoctrinate the minds of Slavonic people, the Balkan wars are FAR from over. (Luckily.)

But don't take my word for it, there are many posters even in this forum that realize this, even without in-debth knowledge. And if you don't think there are tons of blogs about this, think again. Bottom line: there is no smoke without fire and you can't fool the whole world indefinitely.

Sorry frozy, it is still 1920 where you live, it was still 1920 in 1939, in 1945, in 1999, and it is still 1920 today. You must polish your gun.

excuse me? 1920 was in Slovakia when Bosnia was in period from 1960 to 1988 approximately. we're still recovering from significant fall but when it comes to the time line I really doubt that you (slovak) should imply on any country that was part of former Yugoslavia. thanks in advance.

If Korcula can produce its own revenue independently from the mainland, the island community can have soveriegnty or autonomy from the mainland.

If the mainland contributes anything to the islands, you can see a strong union..

If the mainland just feeds off the revenue from the islands but doesn't do anything to enhance korcula, I see a strong imbalance of power and possible civil war.

Quebec always wanted independence from Canada but the independence drive would cost the province alot of money they cannot produce from their present revenue.

Independence drives has its motivations from economics 100%.

So what is the international role Bosnia-Herzegovina plays in the region? An ally of Serbia?

This is absolutely true, especially in the case of Transylvania, Voivodina, and Routhenia, all 3 of which loose more money to their host countries than receive.

It is not the countries that are interesting but the criminals that were elevated to statemanship in Paris 1920, to create such countries as Romania, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia. These 3 would not have been created if their criminal activities hadn't started with defining their borders for stealing Albanian property (Kosovo), Italian property (Dalmatia), and Hungarian property (Upper Hungary, Transylvania, and Voivodina). Many people are interested in organized crime, especially when organized crime creates and runs countries such as the south slavic states. And, my flag is not Poland ... .

It is more than obvious that Slovakia presents one of the major Serbia's allies in all international fields including Kosovo issue.

Serbia is created in 1920 by France? Utter nonsense; just look at the historical maps of the Balkan and you'll see Serbia...maybe Dushan The Mighty would resolve this in other manner, but I'll leave it at this.
Some of you are just posting for the sake of posting.

Slovakia presents one of the major allies of Serbia and goes hand in hand with Russia and China, for instance. Hmmmm...

Slovaks are pro-Slavic friendly nation; it's all you should know, for now.

You are proving my point. Serbia since 1920 is nothing to do with the 1000 year old country that was there before then.

In case of Serba it is difficult to illustrate what I am talking about, but in the case of Romania (same shoes) you do have a living comparison. Romania today is a new country generated in 1920, but the Republic of Moldva has been there for a 1000 years. Maybe in Serbia's situation Raguza/Montenegro can be used as a comparison. What I mean is that the minds of today's Serbians/Romanians/Slovakians were created in Paris 1920, and the real Romanians/Slavs are the Moldvans/Montenegrins. They don't want to join in with Romanians/Serbians. With very good reason

I know. It is unfortunate that you rarely post/reply, because you are one of the most intelligent posters.

I think we like that too if that happens.

    You don't sound polish..

Dalmatia is not even Italian property. For 600 years it was under jewish italian Venetian City State competing/allying with the Ottoman Turks for trade.
