As was pointed out already, Bush started the bailout process and Obama simply followed up with Bush's plan. The funny thing is that had Bush stayed for another term I imagine we'd be in the same spot we are in today. Bush and Obama have the same solution to the problem so in a way the democrats are unintentionally agreeing that Bush was on the right track.

Liberal = Secret Bush supporters.

Ford refused the bailout because they didn't need it. The geniuses at Ford saw this economic downturn in the early 2000s and prepared for it.

necessary.It was a scam.Obama is running around this past week saying
his Administration didn't realize how bad the Economy really was.
Yet,Rush Limbaugh played back a 2008 video of Obama insisting
that the Economy was as Bad as during the Depression and we have
to do something.Obama again,caught in another lie.
What was it Obama.The Economy was as bad as the Depression
of the 1930's back in 2008 or you just underestimated how bad it was
up until last week.

 

Ford did the right thing and weren't about to let the Inexperienced
Community Organizer schmooze them with his Liberal bull.
Look how many GM car dealerships were taken away by Obama
as he selectively picked the winners and losers of who gets a
Dealership.He did the same crap with Green Jobs.Rewarding his

Face it. He lied about the job growth, he lied about the unemployment numbers, he lied about the debt and he lied about his claim he doesn't deserve a second term because he's running again.

Given that the more partisan business owners are not hiring because Obama is president and they prefer to sulk rather than pitch in, and that repubs have tried to screw the economy every chance they got just to hurt Obama, and that the economy takes time to reverse the downward spiral started during the Bush years, I'd say that the signs of recovery are encouraging.

Don't worry though, the economic benefits will eventually trickle down to even the most intransigent con, that is unless they sat on their hands and refused to invest in the future when they had the chance.
But we all know how much you people love the trickle down economic model, so enjoy it.
