It's brief...not many conditions...we'll withdraw and return 5,000 prisoners to you, you return 1,000 Afghan soldiers to us, plus don't shoot at us anymore. We won't shoot at you. You agree not to attack us, nor allow anyone else to attack us from Afghanistan and we'll totally withdraw by May 1, 2021. You can work out everything else with the current Afghan government. Nothing about the translators. Nothing about treatment of Afghan women. Biden accepted this agreement...just moving back the withdrawal date. Both Trump and Biden left the Afghans with the choice between a corrupt government or religious fanatics.

I think we owed them more.

 

Wow hurry up and call every news organization in the world showing videos of Afghans begging to get on a plane. Also call the Dept of defense, and the sect of state because they all said they are working to get the Americans out that ofcourse the military left behind. Talk about in the dark..

 

Boy, you're really mixed up. It was Trump that reversed everything he could that Obama did and then took a victory lap for all his "accomplishments". Yes, he correctly canceled the worst of Trumps "policies" (and there is so much more to do) but he's also had a lot of success with his own policies.
Two of Trumps great "accomplishment" were canceling our participation in two world policies against Iran and climate change. Both moves called monumentally stupid by the rest of the world mostly for the childish reasons behind them. Now you have Biden sticking to a "treaty" made by the previous administration and you hang him on a cross. Brilliant.
