My worst fear is that Biden will hold on until Jan 21, 2023 which is just past the mid point of his term and then resign. That would make Harris President and still eligible for two full additional terms. If Biden left office before half way through and she took over the the term would count as hers for term limit purposes.

Bill Clinton on the other hand did nothing that was worthy of impeachment. It was a pure power-grab by the Right. Then, the very same people (McConnell, Graham, et al.) turned around and let Trump get away with an overt attempt (only the first of many) to interfere in the 2024 election. If what Trump did isn't impeachable, then nothing is. But you defend this crook, because for you its about getting and keeping power by any means necessary.

Don't you worry. Litterally NO ONE likes Kamala Harris in person. The ONLY way she could get elected was in California and pretty much uncontested. She got > 1% of the vote in the Democratic Primaries. I grew up just outside Sacramento, in Roseville, CA. I have had more than a few friends (mostly Democrats) that worked for Kamala Harris. To a person, they cannot stand her. These are Democrats and they despise the woman and how she treats others. She is wholly unlikable... you will see as she gets more exposure. You have a point though. Trump should not have been the one to ask for the investigation. It should be the FBI but Hillary bought them out back in 2016vso I would not want to rely on them.

I watched Fox for 20 minutes last night and it was all “Hunter Biden china and Joe is involved”. They have the **** on a loop right now. Somehow Hunter Biden is now under FEDERAL investigation for his taxes ? Nothing nefarious there right ? I mean Trump didnt start that ball rolling huh ?

This "investigation" is so obvious even Stevie Wonder can see whats going on. Joe has released his taxes for the last 20 years. Have at it. If Hunter did something he should go to jail. The right has been on this witch hunt since Trumps phone call to the Ukrainian president. Odd how that happened right ? Also weird how Hunters laptop suddenly left the news cycle on the the right huh.

If you watch Fox News you wouldn't know that Ivanka has been trying to get trademarks in China for years, and somehow she got them within hours of her dads state visit. Odd huh ?

That kind of thing is called leverage. There is no crime there, sorry. And he didn't threaten to withhold 'billions' he threatened to withhold loan guarantees. Since no one is entitled to loans or aid from the US Government, in the first place, and loans can legally be used as incentive to exact foreign policy concessions, noting that the foreign policy objective was the position of the wider U.S. government, (the firing of a do-nothing Ukraine prosecutor) as well as other international institutions, such as the IMF, I fail to see your point.

 

Biden isn't that rich. Not by a long shot, when you compare him to others in Congress and the Senate. Besides, his wealth has been accounted for, and he's published his taxes going back a few decades. What is there to wonder? Research it, and you will have your answer.

I've always been one who wonders why talent in a debate is such a thing for pols. Why should we reward quick and non-deliberate thought processes anyway? If we're talking about your taxes for the next decade do you want that determination to be predicated on a quick bon mot or some slow and careful calculations? I don't really care how well my pols think "on their feet" as much as how well they think things through, as it were.

 

Candace Owens turns 35 in 2024 so she could run and many Republicans want her to run.

She also said she was going to run for office but never said what position or when. She just had a baby and is suing Facebook so that is taking up her time right now.

 

Snarky side: As long as she has her kneepads, she'll be able to get votes - rest assured of that!

Realistic side: I've heard her before at some kinda stump speech years ago - yeah, she's a bit above Hilla in the charisma department, but way waaaaaaay below Obama or Bill. And yeah, being in California - we've heard the stories, and well before she was in the nominee hunt. At this point I can see only one other reason besides her dick-tation skillz why Biden chose her as da veep because almost anyone else on the hunt for the dem nom - outside of Warren - would have done more for Biden than Kamalla.

 

I hope so. More than anything the Republicans need some new blood. Right now they are a gerontocracy and the only thing gerontocracies worry about is staying in power. You would think not, that they should be concerned most with their legacy but that isn't the case. They have been in power so long that they see its absence as akin to their oncoming demise, and thus fight it without reason, as well all do. New people want to see new ways that they can see growing and benefitting others as the years advance.
