So ambulance chaser turned celebrity Avenatti got arrested on suspicion of domestic violence -- initially it was reported to be his estranged wife, but that was wrong, now the victim is an unidentified woman whom alleged that Avenatti assaulted her this past Tuesday.

From the article: “We were initially told by our sources the alleged victim was Avenatti’s estranged wife,” TMZ wrote in the update. “We now know it was not. The incident involved a different woman.” The site also reported that Avenatti would be released on $50,000 bail, with an “emergency protective order” prohibiting him from contact with the still-unidentified alleged victim. But soon after the arrest was made public, a supposed private investigation firm — Surefire Intelligence — directly connected to Wohl and his attempt to frame Mueller, posted a cryptic message to its own Twitter feed. The post linked to a news report of Avenatti’s arrest, and contained the comment, “Surefire Intelligence strikes again.”

Looks like Avenatti will be having to cancel his 2020 plans -- but to add injury to insult, this dumb ass aspiring Roger Stone wanna-be, Jacob Wohl is trying to take credit for it. I guess he is trying to save face after being exposed as a fraud with that so-called Mueller sexual assault allegation he so masterfully ****ed up. Let's hope this guy had no part in this Avenatti situation at all, I'd rather believe Avenatti did this and not that he was set up by a snotty nose James O'Keefe wanna be -- you would think Republicans would have enough of them.

Damn I hate this, but until Avenatti is convicted/confesses, and to be fair to him, I have to come down on the side of him being innocent.

He did it, there were witnesses -- and the police will never arrest a guy if he was innocent -- law enforcement has a very good track record of only arresting guilty people -- unless we are talking Federal law enforcement, who are mostly corrupt

Jacob Wohl being involved in any way would make me question it. Of course Jacob Wohl is a complete liar.

Possibly. We can't take Jacob's word that he is even involved. Perhaps Avenatti knows more.

Hopefully some details come out soon.

This guy is perfect to lead the DNC. It’s like Dems gave a sixth sense for finding these folks

They don’t care. Just like they didn’t care when the DNC had women make false accusations about Kavenaugh

He claims she hit him first, implying that he hit her second. So he did smack her around and she has the bumps and bruises to prove it, plus the cops saw that she'd been battered.

You may have to be fair, but Avanetti doesn’t. He insists we believe the woman in cases like thus. By his own standard, he’s guilty.

He is innocent until proven guilty. Unlike what he pushed for Judge Kavanaugh.

I have to agree. The irony is that Avenatti seems to be born again when it involves due process, but only for him, not anyone else.

Is it even possible that he was framed for something like this?

I guess it’s possible someone beat his wife dressed like him and his wife thought it was him but it wasn’t.

His sister? Mom? Live in girlfriend? Baby momma? It’s a felony domestic assault. Domestic means one of those things

Involved how? By reporting it before anyone else? He couldn't control how much the bail was. The police spent a day investigating before they made the arrest. It seems the judge and the police thought there was enough merit in the allegations to press charges for a felony. The judge thought the allegations were credible enough to demand 50k in bail during arraignment. It's a bit of a stretch to claim that Wohl is powerful enough to manipulate the NYPD to arrest him under specific charges and the judge into granting a specific amount of bail. I do think he got a heads up from someone after it happened.
