Against Progressive Pseudo-Religion

The author is right. The article shows the lefts transition from liberal Christianity to the religion of the woke as a political identity. There is nothing genuine about their beliefs or how they spread their propaganda.

 

Senator Rubio is right about all that he wrote above.

 

Who cares. If you don't like the progressive's take on religion, don't adopt it for yourself. No progressive can control your beliefs.

You might be surprised to hear it, but this country doesn't belong to traditional religious people any more than it does anyone else. It's not YOUR country. It's OUR country.

THIS is THE LEFT:
and it isn't just this topic, they do this with everything (hate something so much that they end up creating almost the SAME thing, or something worse)
1) Their Christian hate cult has become what they hate, its own religion
2) in their efforts to not discriminate against trans women, they tossed them into female's sports which ends up discriminating against biological females
3) They pushed so hard for no racism that they ended up creating MORE of it.

Maybe their heart is in the right place on these issues but VERY POOR EXECUTION!

 

The problem with most progressive thought is that their concept of "our" is simply "mine". The intolerance of the left for any choice not the one provided by them is telling. progressivism is akin to their own elevation as a functional replacement for God. Talk about blind hubris.

the government, politics, and the state is the religion of the secular progressive movement. They use it to attack the freedom, rights, and liberty of everyone else. The our country is just as much MAGA as it is anyone else.

 

They think they are gods and that they have the right to rule over all who presume to dare to disagree with their woke dogma.

This is nothing new for the Left.

"Progressives" have been dabbling in replacement religions since the birth of the Left during the French Revolution. First there was the atheist Cult of Reason and then the deist Cult of the Supreme Being:

It was also during the French Revolution when you see the first signs of utopian collectivism becoming a replacement religion on the Left, where "progressives" began their spectacularly destructive effort to create a New Man, a New World and a New God, with the goal of establishing a New Garden of Eden on Earth. All of this was a legacy of the radical French philosophes of the 18th Century - Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Étienne-Gabriel Morelly and Gabriel Bonnot de Mably (aka the Abbé de Mably), to name a prominent few - and the proto-communists they influenced, such as François-Noël Babeuf, Sylvain Maréchal and their comrades in the Society of Equals, who promised "the purest of all glories" the "organization of real equality, the only one that responds to all needs, without causing any victims, without costing any sacrifice"...





Of course, these "progressive" lunatics didn't live to see how their "purest of all glories" didn't respond to all needs, cost 100 million victims their lives and sacrificed the freedom and prosperity of hundreds of millions more during the 20th Century's failed and discredited experiment with "the organization of real equality", i.e., Communism/Socialism.

Yet, despite all that, the "progressive" Faith lives on....

Faith in government to as as god or in lieu of God is always an evil thing. Faith in God is always good and is essential to everlasting life.

Yada yada yada, the left and the right are essentially two sides of the same coin. They do mostly the same stuff these days. Hubris abounds on both sides.

 

The fallacy of that is, no one on the right that I'm aware of thinks of themselves in that way. And what you fail to recognize is that conservative folks attribute that level of directive to divine. Which isn't the same thing. The divine in this case being the producer of the law, and the social construct. Given that most progressives don't tolerate the divine, unless it's their own self image, I'm sure you can see both the difference as well as the conflict it produces.

As to "hyper partisanship and hypocrisy", those are the domains of progressives. Ask any progressive about thou shalt not kill. And remember their answer is, limited to only those folks who they believe need to be protected, the elite amongst them. Not the rest of us for sure. And instead of applying that to everyone, as would a conservative, it becomes the foundation for their willingness to engage in the most heinous of behavior. Why? Because progressive folks don't seem to be willing to allow the law to ever adhere to them.

 

Humans are hardwired to believe in something beyond this life. Most find comfort in the belief that an omnipotent supreme being has things under control.

What is most likely taking place is disappointment on a massive scale, especially among Christians who are fed up with the hypocrisy of America's evangelical Christians. Calling Trump "God's chosen" when he's so clearly unworthy of respect or admiration from those who claim to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ doesn't help.

Religions have morphed and splintered for millenia. This isn't any different.
