"The wound track passes directly from front to back". "2 x 2 inch area of stippling". This does not support Zimmerman's claim that they were fighting over the gun, IMO.

You are right but it is still irrelevant as he wasn't there.

No finger prints from Martin were found on the gun. And no DNA from Zimmerman was found under Martin's fingernails.

It wasn't a cat fight and so what if no fingerprints of Martin were found one the gun, that only means he was blocked from getting ahold of it. Isn't it you libs that say guns can be taken away and used on you?

Zimmerman never said they fought over the gun.

It's not really that important since we know police lie and news orgs lie. Zimmerman's father said it too. Whether they said it or not is not the point. The point is that Trayvon's hands were not near the weapon when it discharged.

There is only one question. Can you prove Zimmerman started the fight?

The answer is no and therefore no murder charge could ever be proven.

Trayvon ran. 80 seconds or so later he was dead.

How does your speculation change anything I said?

The answer, it doesn't. Accept the fact the murder charge is impossible to prove and move on.

Do you believe that running away equals starting a fight?

A man being beat up amazingly aims a gun straight at his attackers heart, the bullet traveling horizontally front to back. Trayvon has no bruises or lacerations on his knuckles though supposedly Zimmerman's face was terribly (though invisibly) damaged. Stop reading what other people say about the evidence and put it together for yourself.

Trayvon had a real reason to be in fear for his life. He had good reason to stand his ground though he chose to run away. This reminds me of that idiot Michelle saying, "Barack could get shot just going to the gas station" or whatever she said. Makes me sick how some people are trying to justify it. It is not justified. I don't care what skin color people are. If Zimmerman gets off, none of us are free to walk to the store for candy.

Trayvon ran, 4 minutes later he was dead. He could have walked home in 1.

No. I'm also not going to believe I know who started the fight that happened later. Why are you pretending to be so sure about something you can't prove?

Once again you are going to have to accept the fact that there is no proof that Zimmerman started the fight so a murder charge cannot be supported.

Drop the emotion and look at the facts.

Guessing from the aerial picture, I would say he was about a football field from his destination. Remember he stopped running. He thought he had lost the guy. The guy who outweighed him and wanted to be a cop. Not justifiable.

Murder is already proved. Note the autopsy report. It was homicide. The question is whether it was justifiable.

    False.

No premeditation or intent has been proven in a court of law, so your claim that "murder is already proved" is erroneous.

I hate to say this, but...

I have the feeling that you are going to be severely disappointed by the outcome of this case.

Everything recent that I'm reading, tends to corroborate Zimmerman's account of the incident. The state of Florida has to prove that Zimmerman not only acted in a negligent and irresponsible manner, but they have to prove this beyond a reasonable doubt and to a moral certainty.

And in my lowly opinion - they can't.

Zimmerman is automatically given the benefit of doubt, and unless the state can produce some bombshell evidence that completely destroys Zimmerman's statements and the physical evidence - say, a video recording of the incident from a nearby surveillance camera - I don't see how Zimmerman could be convicted.

"Homicide" is the killing of another human being. "Murder" is the unlawful killing of another human being.

I should have said homicide is already proved.

You do not need to have premeditation to prove murder. Zimmerman is not charged with first degree murder. His intent is clear though. Trayvon did not get away.

I didn't say you needed to have premeditation. I said "premeditation or intent". Intent is required for a 2nd degree murder charge, as per the definition.

His intent was to kill Trayvon. The only question is whether it was justifiable. It's not like Zimmerman ran a red light. He put his gun up to Trayvon's chest and pulled the trigger.
