Turns out now that all the facts presented so far from cops to witnesses, to autopsy reports support Zimmerman's claim of self-defense. Even the the gunshot has now been determined to be as close as 1" away.

The autopsy also shows that Zimmerman shot Martin from a distance of between 1 inch and 18 inches away, bolstering Zimmerman's claim that he shot Martin during a close struggle.​

Your posts are so biased its not even funny. Zimmerman is a murderer and will be convicted he MURDERED AND UNARMED INNNOCENT CHILD! And it will likely racially motivated. A white hispanic murdering a black child.

Some very smart and well known attorneys have been interviewed and they all appear to believe this will be difficult at best to return a guilty verdict on 2nd Degree Murder charge...had it been manslaughter, probably, but not with what he was charged.

 

Yeah, this is going to have to be an OJ level (*)(*)(*)(*) up of the criminal justice system for Zimmerman to be convicted of murder 2. Based on the evidence so far, there is really no way. The affadavit alone was beyond weak. I'm honestly surprised it was allowed to go to trial.

 

My prediction: case will be dropped. I don't even think there's a single possible charged that could stick. Zimmerman is only guilty of putting himself in danger by following too closely.

But it turns out this innocent child was a 6'3" football player, who straddled Zimmerman and beat him "MMA style." Those were the words used by an eyewitness. Zimmerman cried for help a minimum for 14 times. Yes, "cried" is a term used by another witness. The 140 lb. thing was debunked weeks ago, along with the picture of the 12 year old Trayvon that the media circulated. Now even ABC is calling Zimmerman a multi-racial hispanic. You gotta love that one. Even your own liberal cohorts are now admitting he's not white. And now even ABC is admitting that Zimmerman has serious injuries, a broken nose and gashes on the back of his head that corroborate his version of the story.

The tragedy here is that a 17 year old kid acted foolishly and attempted to beat someone nearly to death. He paid for it by dying himself. The tragedy is not racial profiling, but a horrible gang culture and mindset that surrounded this teen giving him an opportunity to buy into it. Unfortunately he did. Tragically he didn't have time to grow out of it. Destroying an innocent man won't erase any of it.

 

Oh well when you stalk someone with a gun you get your ass beat. Trayvon is the real user of SYG. Zimmerman is a murderer. Either way his life his ruined anyway. He'll either be in prison forever (most likely) or he won't ever be able to walk outside again without the American public wanting blood.

 

They can't believe that the evidence paints a different picture than the Martin familiy's race baiting legal team. Wait until Zimmerman walks.

 

Again, thank you. If I were looking for the perfect example of someone plugging their ears to the facts, I couldn't have done better. It's like a toddler kicking and screaming, yet not realizing his efforts are futile. You just have to kind of look on and wait til reality sinks in.

Zimmerman will not plea to manslaughter because he is innocent of any crime.

 

He'll plead. I'm surprised you'd say that with your background.

 

Perhaps you should read the article Montoya, Dershowitz is one of the most respected law professors in the nation. Silly ignorance on your part is not going to change any facts about this case, no matter how much of a tantrum you throw.

There won't be a verdict of manslaughter because they charged him with 2nd degree murder. If they don't get a conviction on that charge, he's a free man. He can't be charged with manslaughter after the fact, as this would violate double jeopardy.

I doubt he'll plea to manslaughter. The prosecution's case is so weak, there's no way 12 jurors will find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt unless they selected these people from the OJ Simpson list of jurors.

 

With all of the evidence that is now being seen, I have a stong feeling that the Judge is going to dismass the chages.

 

It's almost as if Montoya is saying that since Zimmerman decided to follow someone who was black, that it's his fault no matter what, if he get's attacked. Doesn't matter if he's walking back to his car and got jumped, he shouldn't have been within 100 feet of a black guy, or he's guilty. IOW's blacks are so incompetent, you can't expect them to not attack when given the opportunity. If you make yourself available, it's your fault what happens next.

To me it's utterly insulting and racist toward blacks. And for blacks who feel that way, it shows how little they respect themselves.
