The difference between MSM and alt/independent news is that it's not MSM's agenda to purvey information such as above. They have corporate sponsors who pay the salaries and feed them the scripted narratives along with the fact-checkers galvanising the false narratives. It seems that wearing a mask at the hospital when interacting with patients should be the rule not the exception. Most hospital patients are vulnerable to increased symptoms/complications if they were to get infected with SARSCoV2. Due to the possibility of having asymptomatic covid, it's only prudent to wear a mask. This is nothing new, prior to Covid, universal precautions were practiced in all hospitals -- every patient is treated as if infected and therefore precautions are taken to minimize risk. Universal precautions have never been considered as overkill and shouldn't be. It's simple, every patient is treated as infected with the coronavirus and therefore precautions are taken to minimize risk.

We still have signs in businesses that suggest people should wear masks but most ignore those signs now.

Covid has virtually no effects on non at risk children. Show me a stats proving that Covid kill children indiscriminately. The flu, mind you kill regardless if children are at risk or not. Covid cannot do that to children and adults who are non at risk. You may want to look up flu death among children annually.
