Amazon HQ2 to Alabama?

    clearly Alabama wants to grow its tech economy. They even put together a package for amazon's HQ2 for Birmingham and Huntsville. Huntsville has always been a small Center of tech and certainly they want to grow it.

    And then we have the election. To me Roy Moore will not help Alabama and their tech roadmap. What company would want to relocate to a state mired in Roy Moore? What tech worker would want to live there?

    I'd have no problem going to Alabama if I worked for a tech company.

    And this Moore thing will blow over quickly enough so Amazon moving there will be based off the incentives Alabama offers them.

    Moore's christian anti gay / LGBT policies are what North Carolina tried

    as well as Governor Pence in his state

    It tanked both state's economies

    Both states changed course to save their states

    Alabama is a nice State.

    One hope that neither Bezos nor Moore will wield any influence in it when the smoke clears.
