No organisation should be allowed to contribute to political parties.

Elections should be publicly funded, any organisation that wishes to contribute to this process should be free to do so.

 

I would only sign it if you add the following.

Political Action Committees and Unions... otherwise you are just solving a small part of the problem and leaving the Democratic Party in the $$$$$ chair.

Sorry, the future of the world is corporatism. Taking money out of the campaigns will not matter at all. It is an ideology...technocracy, and rule by the elite. Progressives are on board and share goals with corporate leaders in various think tanks. You'll just be along for the ride, just like the rest of us.

 

Thanks for sharing that! I've already signed Sanders' proposed amendment and others like it.

It is important to write and place laws like that into effect. As things are now, it's equivalent to BRIBERY being 'legal'.

More than anyone we could vote in/out of office... such an amendment would IMPROVE our nation.

ALL Americans need to be on this thing. Until we do (at least) something like that, very few/little of our voices will be heard, and few policies invented/enacted will make good sense.

 

EVERYTHING. That's correct and that's the fundamental problem with the corporation. Profit above EVERYTHING else, to the point where is the ONLY thing that matters, no matter how it is achieved. Anybody that can't see a problem with that desperately needs to have their head examined ASAP, and anybody that denies that profit ISN'T the ONLY objective is a LIAR.
