"That virtually every understanding of nationalism is rooted in the idea that the nation should be jealously defended from foreign interference, aggression, and insult. Even purely symbolic disrespect should quicken the blood of every true nationalist."

"It is now an accepted fact that the Russian government attempted to meddle in our elections and is planning on doing so again in 2018"

"Most of the rah-rah nationalists on cable, talk radio, and social media have been remarkably blasé about it, more interested in Hillary Clinton’s misdeeds than those of a contemptuous foreign power"

"So where is the outrage from the nationalist caucus?"

    https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/...ion-2016-2018/

Seems along with deficits and debt, fearing ideology, conservative economics, and looking for honesty from a President, the notion of nationalism and patriotism on the right depends upon who is in the White House. So much for principles

What the heck are you talking about, everyone is against Russian meddling. The left created a crazy Trump Russian narrative that was wrong so your now pivoting to Russian interfered and conservatives don't care? Come on you guys do so many 180's you can't figure out where it started so let me break down the facts for you.

Hilary's idiot team literally didn't protect their emails, Russians tried to hack both sides only could get the dems and they published the campaigns own words.

The Dems colluded with Russia by going through a 3rd party and paid 9 million to get false Russian intelligence on Trump to, you guessed it, sway the election their way. The info was so bad they really couldn't use it other than to get the media whores to publish BS and start this national false smear campaign.

Obama knew of the Russian hacking operation and down played it to the nation.

Every Republican I know agrees that we need new laws absolutely demanding transparency from campaigns and make it 100% illegal to get any foreign information on political opponents either directly or indirectly. Make it punishable by jail time for anyone who was involved.

"make it 100% illegal to get any foreign information on political opponents either directly or indirectly. Make it punishable by jail time for anyone who was involved," oh, so you then would recommend Don JR, Manoford, and Kushner should all go to jail?

And your President didn't even recognized that Russia did meddle in our election, and now your telling us "everyone is against Russian meddling?"

The rest of your post is pure radio rhetoric, it could read as a script off of any Hannity TV show

So because we have meddled in other nation's elections it means that we should now accept as normal the fact that a Nation antagonistic toward the United States orchestrated an espionage effort not only to "meddle" into our election but also to jeopardize the faith and confidence Americans have in their electoral traditions underlining our democratic system?

Country's have been meddling in other country's elections since the democratic process was born. You act surprised? Do you know how many elections and coups have been staged by the USA abroad?

So humor me here, it's fine and dandy for us to do this but when a foreign country does it to us, we should drop a nuke on them? :juggle:

Look at the libs complaining that Trump isn't doing something fast enough over something Obama did nothing about, Obama even said the Russians didn't do squat and anyone who said they did should stop whining.

Wanna stop meddling by all people? Start laying fines on any news outlet that knowingly publishes false info about a political candidate.

I was extremely disapointed with the CIA pick... Who was advising Trump to pick Pomeo the guy that loves the NSA and Patriot Act? Oh right... Neo-cons like Ryan and Preibus.

"The Obama administration did not sit idle while Russia interfered in the election, as Trump makes it seem. The administration publicly named the Russian government as the culprit, confronted Putin in person, and worked to secure the country’s election infrastructure — all while the intelligence agencies investigated the issue"
    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...-trump-says-barack-obama-did-nothing-about-r/

"Trump claimed former President Barack Obama “did nothing” from August to Nov. 8 about Russia meddling in the election. That’s wrong. Among other things, Obama spoke to Putin about the issue in September, and his administration worked with state officials from mid-August until Election Day to prevent voting systems from being hacked."
    https://www.factcheck.org/2017/07/trump-misleads-russia-hacking/

"Obama issued sanctions against Russia for the meddling after U.S. intelligence officials said they had found evidence that the country had hacked U.S. groups and leaked emails in an effort to influence the 2016 vote. He also expelled 35 Russian diplomats from the U.S. and ordered two Russian compounds to be closed."

"Obama had wanted to issue a bipartisan statement condemning the interference before the election, but was blocked by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell"

So, what you are saying is Obama tried his best and still failed miserably. Kinda sums up his entire regime.

Obama had months, Trump fifteen months, Obama didn't want to interfere in an election in fear of raising conservative chants he was attempting to influence the election, Trump has no reason, well other than perpetuating his hoax fabrication

    And just to keep you informed;

Libs are awfully noisy about Russia. Not a peep when Hillary presented the Reset button but after she invented the Russia collusion narrative the useful idiots fell in line.

Like the umpteenth time I've seen the Hillary or Obama "whataboutism," and here it becomes even more inane when the poster attempts to justify it by regurgitating once again the talk radio innuendos
