I still can't get over how the Dems called the Republicans "warmongers" for wanting to be harsh with the Soviet Union (when we were already at war with them), but now the Dems think Russia is Nazi Germany 2.0.

 

Yeah, because there aren't any actions in between ignoring it like Trumputin is doing and nuking Russia.

It's amusing when Obama style leftists tell Right of Center citizens how they should be patriots. Leftists get it wrong of course, because they have only a cartoon definition of nationalism and then they apply it across the board to PATRIOTISM. All patriots are nationalists, in other words, and their definition of nationalism is defined by a radical -- and generally nation-despising -- typical leftist type such as Rachel Maddow of MSNBC or -- as already noted -- a real ideological piece of work such as Barack Obama whom considered all patriots to belong in the category of, "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or . . . " (Fill in the leftist generated slander regarding patriots).

To answer your question, actual patriots have understood from the get go that not only the Russians but the Chinese and the Israelis and the British and any other ambitious nation with a spy budget does this sort of thing, much like Obama did to Israel itself during his administration to try and unseat Netanyahu; but of course our leftists don't want to talk about that. Anyway knowing -- unlike leftists apparently -- that this sort of thing ALWAYS HAPPENS and occurs with multiples of player nations and is almost invariably an utter waste of time, effort, and spy budget funding by that country -- actual patriots use logic and reason to deal with it rather than leftist generated . . . emotions. Deal with it.

 

Do leftists really think that people in general are so stupid as to think that such either/or straitjacket style 'reasoning' has got anything to do with either reality or logic? You accept as reality that such things happen -- which our intelligence community already knew -- and then you attempt as a matter of course to plug what holes are reasonable to plug and to thwart such activities which -- gasp! -- our intelligence agencies were already doing. It's interesting that only generally hysteria minded leftests; i.e. leftists with a political axe to grind, are utterly unaware of any of this.

They have been shocked -- shocked I say! -- that such things typically happen and have typically been attended to by our very own intelligence community from . . . the . . . get . . . go. Oops!

Obama had eight years since our intelligence community has known that all active player nations do attempt to interfere with or direct U.S. elections and yet he did nothing about it for eight years. Orrrrrrrrrrrr do you instead want to maintain that none of the U.S. intelligence agencies told Obama that this sort of thing is typical of player nations? Not tell him while Obama THOUGHT that he was being original when HE directed an offensive action against the nation of Israel by secretly interfering in their election? Oh my!

 

So you are saying that Obama knew about this sort of thing all along but that he lied to this nation when he originally said that there was no interference by the Russians or any other nation during the 2016 election? But then again, lying to this nation was one of Obama's main hobbies.

Nobody has bitten the dust...............yet! Still waiting on the OIG's report, and meanwhile a congressional investigation is in progress. All this winning is difficult. It's hard to not become complacent.

 

It is fascinating to watch every scheme and political dream of our leftists in regard to Trump/Russia collusion blowing up in their faces WHILE simultaneously pointing directly at Hillary's and the DNC's and the leftist-allied MSM and the upper levels of the nation's alphabet intelligence agencies colluding WITH the Russians against Trump. Now THAT'S gonna leave . . . a . . . mark.

 

At this point from what we know it's a foregone conclusion. The whole Russian collusion with Trump is/was a smokescreen to cover up Hillary crimes, in concert with Obama administration government lifers who never gave much thought that she might actually lose. Whoops! The whole charade was their planned failsafe to explain and justify a colossal election upset to cover their tracks to undermine a duly elected President. The sad part is that Trump and Sessions were perfectly willing to let it slide. I'm thinking Trump will not let this go now. The gloves are off.

 

I agree. Trump was perfectly willing to turn a political blind eye to all of this until the radical Left and our RINOs decided to use that bogus dossier to destroy him as a sitting president. That's the huge irony in all of this; had the politically and ethically corrupt people intimately involved in all of this illegality simply accepted reality -- that Trump was going to be president for the rest of his first term and quite possibly for two terms -- then ALL that would have happened was that Trump would have had some interesting blackmail material on them that he probably would seldom, if ever, actually used. But since they petulantly decided to go for the 'gold' in all this and push their fortunes beyond the realm of safety or of sanity, now they increasingly are on the hot seat and ARE gradually . . . being . . . roasted.
