Biden wants to be seen as the healer which is fine but praising old/ long gone Republican senators should be after he wins the nomination. Running against Trump many Republicans would vote for Biden. That's when he can get warm/ fuzzy with Republicans. Meghan McCain & Abby Huntsman [ABC] worship Biden. David Brooks/ George Will are encouraging Republicans to vote Democratic.

 

Seriously? A Democrat getting elected Senator in California is somehow an accomplishment now? Either way, she has no accomplishments of note that can attributed to her. I guess get bought and paid for by Herbalife is pretty impressive, but probably not something she wants to talk about...

85% of the personal tax cuts went to people making $400,000 per year. If Trump had kept the top rate where it was like he promised when he ran, folks making less than $400,000 could have had a tax cut SIX TIMES what it was.

Unemployment was already low when Trump took office.

Unemployment wasn't as low as it has been under Trump, so going back would mean higher unemployment and higher taxes. Biden offers nothing.

The Trump tax cuts have added to the debt we have to pay back. What did Joe and Jane America get for giving most of the tax cut to rich people? Economic growth is about what it was in late 2014 without the Trump Keynesian stimulus.

Biden does not want to get involved in the down and dirty tactics of attacking fellow Democrats like Harris. I will grant you he was probably surprised by the ferocity of Harris's attack.

Biden is a man of honor. He does not want to attack fellow Democrats. He wants to focus on Trump, not Democrats.

Harris was wrong. Does she want the nomination that bad? With her far left proposals, she stands no chance in a general election. The Republicans will eat her up.

Democrats need to learn the lessons from the last election. Progressives need patience. They should wait until they control the executive and legislative branches before they go all gung-ho with their far left ideas. Control of both branches is there for the taking if they don't blow it by eating their own.

Please note, I am a conservative, but I would vote for a socialist if the nominee could rid us of Trump. This is not a time for ideologues. Progressives need to learn that.

In an age when Democratic victories depend on mobilizing voters, not winning them over, to win elections, it's completely insane to suggest that the Democratic Part should be trying to win over Republicans.

No, Democrats need to mobilize the base. That means offering something exciting. Get the Millennials to the polls. Joe "Sheesh, give me a break" Biden is not the man for the job.
