I came awfully close to voting for Clinton in ‘16. I was almost ready to help precipitate the dive to the bottom that must occur before this country truly returns to its roots. It is going to get worse before it can get better. I’m not sure prolonging the agony is sound strategy. Trump was(is) a bit of a midnight rest stop, but the journey must continue eventually. The Cloward-Piven strategy certainly has merit. It may be time to either let it happen as they intended, or to co-opt the process, as it is in part a natural progression anyway. Just because society and economic foundations can be broken in such a manner doesn’t mean the “fix” has to be the one Cloward and Piven envisioned. The only reason I’m hesitant to advocate wholeheartedly for such drastic measures is the suffering it would bring to so many. Not everyone is prepared to weather the storm that would have to be endured before all could be put back together.
That may be the most prudent approach. The fact I didn’t pull the handle for Clinton demonstrates my intern conflict on the issue.
When Trump got rid of Hillary and Comey that was a big first step to draining the swamp. I shutter to think of all the swamp creatures that Hillary would have brought with her had she won.
Unless we can somehow reform our universities, the country is lost. I think that we are too far gone, but I could be wrong.
You just said Obama didn't do the same. You said: "In less than three years, there have been about 180 Federal judges confirmed. Obama only got about 150 in 8 years." Now again he did? Being all over the map is the definite sign of somebody who doesn't know what they're talking about.
I agree with you here, except it isn’t just universities. It’s Pre-K on up. And yes, I think it’s too late. Now that most educators and administrators came up in this system the change in outcomes is becoming exponential. Free college for everyone would ensure totalitarian government (or at least that option) in 4-6 years in my opinion.
No, sanity won’t return. It will have to be fought and died for. Just like it always has been in the past.
The point is your boy hasn't cleaned up his room like he promised. He's too busy playing with his pet lizards
That's 150 more liberal Obama judges that would not have been there if he was not President. Try to keep up!
Well by 2024 we'll have appointed at least one more conservative judge to the supreme court. My advise to Trump for his next SC nomination. Pick conservative pick young
So...after all those flip-flops, your final point in this discussion turns out to be... shame on Obama for being President...? I can think of very few debates I have had on this forum as idiotic as this one. Thank you for pointing out where I should not waste my time expecting intelligent arguments anymore.
I think the main point is this. Leftist policies have failed, they have been proven wrong but for the sake od power alone leftists refuse do admit it. Essentially if your not a conservative capitalist youre wrong.
All you folks had to do was win an election. Oh wait, because Obama was such a colossal failure, America decided we need someone like Trump. You folks created this monster, too bad you aren't adult enough to deal with it. America decided that we needed Trump to protect ourselves from failed Obama policies and people like Hillary...
If Obama in his full 8 years put less than Dirty Donald has in his less than 3 years on the Federal court bench, how did he stack the bench????? The numbers refute your claim.
Doesn't matter all that much anymore. Too late to now to drain the swamp. After the Senate hearing, we all gonna be gator snacks.
It's the left that talked about expanding the Supreme Court to 11 or 13, to add some Libs and gain a majority. The left will do anything to grab power.
Reform our universities. What does that mean? I'm not going to even try to guess what you mean but it sounds frightening to me. Please explain your meaning.
I beg you pardon, but he already did start. The list is already very long. https://www.businessinsider.com/who...-james-comey-sean-spicer-michael-flynn-2017-7
