Further you can't just let batteries sit there they have to be exercised especially if they're iron phosphate which would probably be what they are because lithium is becoming more scarce.

They don't even use those in cars to replace the battery to power the starter because they're so unreliable.

I disagree. The problem is battery capacity and charging times. They’re otherwise better in every way.

Torque on demand, insane HP to weight ratio, if motors on all wheels it can smart adjust to driving conditions and 4X4 needs. Not sure what the disadvantages are outside of battery and charging. This is coming from an oil worker as well.

    have you ever drove one?

    I have been a passenger.
Limited range. Long charging time. Use of either heat or air conditioning degrades performance.

Don’t get me wrong. The battery and charge times (i.e. range) is what holds me back as well. The AC also eats up performance in a gasser. Not the heater though so you have a point there.

But when batter power is figured out I would say they will be way better.

another disadvantage is that as more people get them they will be harder to charge. Our electrical system is nowhere sufficient to supply power to a high demand of electrical vehicles. I’m dumbfounded why liberals are so prone to passing laws that are anti natural gas in homes, anti fossil fuels in cars, and anti coal in power plants yet give our electrical grid no attention. As if they think it’s going to work. It’s asinine
