Again, how do you prevent a CCW from entering a premise unless you pat down or use a metal detector? Who's to say that a CCW wasn't on the premises in El Paso? and if they were and they chose to engage the perp, what guarantee was there against stray bullet casualties or the cops shooting the good guy?

Referring to the actual cases....one guy with hand guns may get 30 people, one guy with an assault rifle 20 in half the time.

When a walmart decides not to post the 30.06 sign at their doors, they have decided to allow those with CHL's to carry concealed firearms in the store.

 

And others could be used just as effectively. Heck in a closed environment imagine a sawed off 12 gauge filled with buckshot or even a couple of 45 automatics. The AR's are just the most popular out there.
