(Answered) Why does my profile page belong to someone else?

    When I try to go to my profile page, instead of taking me to .daniel, it takes me to Daniel517, which is a banned user. The personal information is all wrong too, saying I live in Cali and work as a cashier when I'm on the other side of the country in a different field. I don't understand the redirect.

    I'm going to guess that it has something to do with the period preceding your username.

    This is why all usernames should be stripped of special characters.

    The 92 people in my head agree with you. :nod:

    This is just bizarre.
    I know .daniel (well, as well as anyone can 'know' anyone on here) from several years back.
    I clicked on the link toddwv posted, it took me to .daniel's page----one can even SEE messages I'd left him years ago.
    But....glitch happened, my message from few minutes ago posted twice, so I used my magical Adviser powers to delete the second one....and it then kept taking me to the banned Daniel's page!!

    .daniel, I feel it must be asked:

    Are you an alien interfering with our site's ability to function?

    A) Out of the 92 people in my head, trust me, there's quite the large contingent of PF folks already there.

    (for instance, I beg falena and 12thMan daily to change the danged radio station and will they? Noooooo.
    Just snicker at me and wander off......)

    B)Well clearly this indicates that toddwv is somehow involved! (cue sneaky, dramatic sounding music)

    Which now forces me to ask :below:

    .daniel, toddwv----which one of y'all is actually driving the "Mother Ship"?
