None of that matters. You, not Hunter Thompson, are patched members of the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club. If you think hanging out with Hell's Angels makes you a Hell's Angel go try telling them that. You are sorely mistaken...
Oh, and you've not answered the question about the Cobra which "sold for the largest amount { a Million and a half } Because it was totally authentic. Every part no matter how insignificant was original." Are you suggesting that no car has sold for more than $1.5 million? Oh, and you need to understand that there's a difference between "authentic" and "original"...
One remark in your narrative that I will comment on is your remark about "loud thundering exhaust". That's not the fault of the motorcycle, but rather the fault of the owner of the motorcycle.
I rode about 65 years of my life and during that time owned four Harley Davidsons and I've been a MSF instructor. My response to anyone saying loud pipes saves life is BS.
The ones who disagree with me don't want people to think they like loud pipes just to make asses of themselves. Saying loud pipes save lives justifies their being jerks Sorry, I apologize for coming down hard on the 'loud pipes' issue but loud pipes have done more to damage the image of motorcycles than any other single thing.
Kinda. Not with a Confederate Motorcycle.Or how about the unbelievable Kawasaki H2R which blows flames hitting way over 300 h.p.That's the Track version. Not street legal. The Kaw H2 is street legal.
I could make the argument that lane-splitting { common in California } is a pretty big factor in creating a bad image for motorcyclist. Yet Most Motorcyclist use it.Not many Harley types.Because Harley's are not very nifty in close quarters or being nimble.Harley's are dogs.
Well, I guess... deal with it. I don't care that you don't like them... I agree with your self-assessment... Yeah, because the Hell's Angels and the Mongols and the Outlaws don't paint bikers in a bad light, nooo...
Harley riders don't lane-split because Harley riders aren't immature jerks who think they own the road...
I went to straight pipes last year.. after years of having problems with the mufflers on my bike shaking loose all the time.. I am pleased to have fixed the problem with a much lighter exhaust system.. and I have to admit, I like the sound! Besides loud pipes making drivers more aware of your presence, I also find it helps judge my shifting and speed.
The rider group here in town (no more than a couple of dozen of us) mostly ride Harleys, and nearly all are some brand of V-Twin, the exceptions are some of the young Federal officers ride rice rockets.
I see.Howz about Biker Gangs. How many Biker Gang members ride Hogs.Practically ALL but a few. Basically to be in a Biker Gang one has to demonstrate on a regular basis how Neat it is to be a jerk.Immature or udderwise.
Was there supposed to be a point in all of that? The vast majority of Harley riders aren't in a "biker gang", and their persona has far more to do with them being jerks than it does them riding Harleys. Hell, they'd be jerks if they rode Schwinns...
Gee ... ben hear a little over a week and already dishing it out, Issuing ultimatums and assuming authority. Good thing you ain't a mystery writer.
Of course Your point { entire reason for posting here } is You The Boss ... Man. " Who hired you on ... Boy ? "
I'm thinking .. he's drinking.. and it is a whole lot safer to spout off here than sitting on a barstool
I get it ... because yer " thinking " as opposed to just being normal. Meaning in the long and short of it ... Mr. less than One year resident you are pontificating w/o a license.
