Any trump support care to explain this

The flags at the capitol are at half mast to honor the life of the officer who died in the line of duty on Jan 6th. The flag at the white house has not been lowered and neither has your dear leader had the decency on behalf of the american people to offere any message of condolence to the officer's family.

Is this because he loves the seditious far right lowlifes who descrated the heart of american democracy? The gullible redhats were merely swept up in the Big Lie, but those slimeballs had a horrific wet dream of the Storm. All they managed to do is crap all over American democracy in the name of american democracy.

So tell me, why is the WH flag not at half mast?

 

Same reason Dirty Donald hasn't mentioned the pandemic and all the lives it is taking in months. If it isn't something that benefits him, he ignores it good or bad.

I would think he would lower the flag for the terrorists who died in the attack. We know he loves them, as much as he is capable of loving anyone not named Donald J. Trump.

 

I don't know if going home, not the hospital, and having a stroke later, fits dying in the "line of the duty" but whatever. Best wishes to his family though.

I haven't seen a flag at half staff anywhere I've been. I guess the whole country doesn't give a damn.

 

I doubt the president is consulted about the raising or lower of the flag. With everyone packing up getting ready to leave the WH it was probably an oversight on someone's part.

Trump is probably more pissed the officer prevented that terrorists from capturing his enemies and hanging them on the front lawn.

 

We have had policemen or servicemen die in the line of duty practically on a daily basis, sometimes many of them in the same day. The flag at the WH has rarely be flown at half mast at any time in the past for those policemen or servicemen by any administration.

As much as I hate to see any of them die, this one is no more special than any of the rest..

 

So the cop died of a stone after he left the capitol building? Trump supporters didn't kill him? Well what do you know? The alphabet soup boys lie again...

Trump already told the rioters, including the officer's murderers, that he loved them.

He can't be gone soon enough.

 

The officer worked in DC. Is a nationwide flag-lowering really necessary?

 

He could have requested it at any time, if he were actually human.

A rioter beaned him with a fire extinguisher. He never regained consciousness.

 

Again he may not even been aware of the flag situation until it became a news story. I would not expect this to be a decision a POTUS should be making. For all we know maybe he did order it when it came to his attention after all the media reports.

 

I don't really get the impression that many people surrounding Trump are willing to speak up about things. They've seen too many heads roll and nobody wants to be on his bad side. The only person that *might* be able to get away with it is his daughter and she was not even capable of being courteous to her father's wife at the RNC.

 

I don't disagree with you. The issue I have with this thread is the assumption it is the POTUS job to make the decision whether the flag should be lowered or not. If the POTUS is presented with those decisions then I think we would be wasting his time. It would be like asking what color flowers should we put in the WH vases today? There are much more important decisions he should be making and the criticisms is he is not spending enough time on those let alone presenting him with flag decisions.

Do you believe Trump has a conscience? I don't. I'm convinced he's a sociopath, and not one of the brighter ones. Someone would have had to urge him to do the right thing for the fallen officer and his family. It isn't something he would think of doing on his own.
