Left is losing control by arming the Taliban, surrendering American citizens and allies to the Taliban, running like scared rabbit fro Afganistan, causing gas prices to skyrocket, causing endless inflation, allowing an illegal immif=grant invasion, leaving our borders wide open, spending recklessly, encouraging our enemies to be aggressive from Ukraine to Taiwan, making our store shelve become empty, encouraging violent crime (including murder), etc.

    All new with Biden.

I'm not sure I know a Democrat. I'd have no reason to. But I understand that there is a Democrat here in Texas. I hear she lives somewhere near Amarillo. I'll look her up.

It's your theory. You presented it in your OP.

"All demographics indicate a slow but steady erosion of the Republican vote in Texas.

The state will follow the same path as Georgia.

So it is reasonable to believe that Texas will be purple in 2028 and pale blue in 2032.

And you know what that means for the GOP?"

Again, its obvious you know nothing about Texas. Do you think you know how to ride a bicycle because you have read about it but never actually tried riding one?

In Texas, the Hispanic population is growing. But these families have been here for hundreds of years. They are NOT Democrats.

I escaped CA five years ago after living there. CA "illegal aliens" have nothing at all in common with the Hispanics I know here in Texas. My neighbor is Hispanic. His family has been here for hndreds of years. He's a University Professor. His sons are programmers. My Hispanic neighbor in CA didn't speak English, and lived offhi kids that sold drugs.

LOLOL... I read a lot of bad things about New York City... but I was born and raised there, so I knew how much of it was BS. I've read a lot about London being a bad bad place. But I've lived there and know London is wonderful. I've read how bad Orlando was, but I've lived there and know how great it is. I've lived in DC, Norfolk, Boston, El Paso, Orlando, Georgia, Oklahoma, California, Turkey, Israel, Germany, France, Iraq and more. I have read good and bad about them all. But LIVING THERE tells the TRUTH. I suggest you get off your butt and actually VISIT these place. If you are young enough, the US military is a GREAT WAY to see he world. But if all you know about the world is from READING... I would suggest you can no no more about reading about swimming. You have to LIVE IT.

No, but they're DEFINITELY not Republicans either; not if Republicans in general are like Republicans on this board. Most of the Republicans in this very thread have missed the whole point of my last post in their eagerness to bash Hispanics. The girl I know is from one of the oldest and richest families in America, yet is still reviled as a "greaser" in some places. People do NOT vote for people who call them names and threaten their lives just because they may (but most often don't) reduce their taxes.

Your ignorance of Texas is wonderful. Your ignorance of Texas guarantees that Texas will remain red for years to come. You have absolutely no idea about Texas. Have fun there in the blue north... I'm lovin' it!

You may need to rethink that.
Hispanic Women Powering GOP Gains in South Texas February 07, 2022
In places where Donald Trump made some of his biggest inroads with Hispanic voters, women are playing a key role in the Republican Party's growth....

I've lived in Texas and New Mexico. The girl you know must live in some place like the midwest or East somewhere because that's the only place i've seen what you are talking about and it wasn't coming from Republicans.

So are you condemning a whole race, state, geographic location, political affiliation, or climate for the actions of someone this woman is in a dispute with?

It is big. However, only 12% is desert and 86% is in some form of agricultural production whether that be farming or ranching. NM, AZ, NV, and CA each have much more desert than Texas.
I find it funny that you put down Texas so bad yet if anyone calls some 3rd world country a s*hithole, then they are evil. Something, something, something glass houses.

I don't put a lot of faith in AOC's assessment, but if you compare the population density map of the US with the voting map from 2020 for president, they almost match perfectly, meaning that as population density increases, so does the likelihood that that area will vote for a Democrat. I don't need to spell it out, but the population for most areas in the US is only increasing, indicating to me that the likelihood that Democrats will get elected increases.
Republicans espousing the attitudes they have over the last 20-30 years will lead to a losing streak. Republicans will be forced to change their stance on some things, probably pissing off a lot of the "faithful".
The populist movement will die off. Let's hope that things will even out, for I don't like either party to have too much power. It leads to extremism, and I personally don't care for extremism by either side. A strong 3rd party could emerge, which I would support, but it hasn't happened yet and seems unlikely anytime soon.

I'm condemning the whole Trumper race for acting as if many people from the oldest and most well established families in this country are all illegal interlopers. The USA was settled from BOTH directions and the settlement shows that the Spanish culture, the Spanish language and the Spanish people were here FIRST. WE'RE the ones who should go back where we came from but the Hispanics (like the First Nations before them) have graciously let us stay and continue to permit us to remain in a land which, going by history, is FAR more THEIR cultural hearth than is was ever ours

First off, they're not allowing us to stay anywhere. You're implying they could make us leave if they wanted. We know that isn't the case. Also, there's not a spec of land on earth that's inhabited by people that hasn't been inhabited by some other people at a previous point in history. So the whole 'go back to where we came from' is a terrible argument.

The United States is the land of United States citizens, period. Anybody who doesn't like it can leave. Or they can do their part and give up any land they own to someone who they feel should rightly own it based on ancestry.

Well, no. There are certainly old families here, there and everywhere. My family has been in this country since 1609. The Spanish have only been here since the 1520s at the earliest. Hell, the whole Hispanic race hasn't even been a thing earlier than 1500. There are plenty of hispanic people that are part of the "Trumper" race. Some day, maybe you'll figure out that it isn't about race. It's about law and order and culture. Liberal culture seems to think that law and order doesn't matter.
