The Republican party is perfectly sane. They don't wish to win the Presidency in 2012.

The script is for Obama to continue the destruction of the middle class for another Four years. He is easily manipulated into doing this because he thinks he is a "centrist" and increasingly bizarre Republican demands can be used to drag him further to the right in his quest for even handedness.

The crunch comes in 2016 - at that point a former military man, most probably Gen. Petreaus, will accept the Republican nomination and win in a landslide.

The rollback of the New Deal will be complete and the Robber Barons will be living high on the hog in their gated communities. The army and police will keep order amongst the peasants.

To put that another way; the American Dream is over. The cuts to your living standards are permanent. We know you are not going to like it. We are prepared for your anger. We will crush you. We have been assembling the tools to do it since 2002.

The biggest threat to our national security is our own government. Americans are waking up to this fact. How do you displace the anger from the American people off of the government? By starting another war! Neo-Cons and Liberals will do anything to protect their interest and that includes killing Americans in another illegal war.
