Traitors to whom? The united states? I don't think so. They are entitled to their opinion, just like everyone else. They often have valid things to say if you're willing to listen. I assume you are not.

Assuming Republicans are actually conservatives, I find it laughable that a liberal would be throwing around the "traitor" label.

Since the 60's, the liberal left has supported any system of Government that is incompatible with our own. They supported the Marxists, the black nationalists, the Islamists, etc. They hate America, but rather than leave, they'd rather tear it down from the inside and try and build their liberal utopia.

    Awesome....Simply Awesome....Well Said.

That was said in a simple way, and right to the point. But most of all very accurate.

The GOP is actively seeking to destroy the US economy and the stability of our government. They have done more to further this goal than any terrorist.

I was living off of $25k a year for a family of 4 when the Bush tax cuts came out. Those tax cuts helped my family budget greatly.

Enron is a strange example to use. Enron had ties with the Clintons, and were finally shut down when the Bush admin wouldn't help them. They also have nothing to do with shipping jobs out of the country.

    1. Funny you use Enron as an example. Enron is a group of connected democrats who were aided and abetted in their crime by the Clinton Administration. The Bush administration didn't help them out, which is why Enron fell apart. Enron didn't move jobs out of America. They were energy speculators.

Since you are leaving out some facts to this, lets go ahead an enlighten you.

Everyone gets tax breaks under republicans, they don't single out just one group.

This is done on both sides.

Like what? No child left behind? That raise the price tag for public schools. Fire departments? No, this isn't true either, just less people can work when the average pay for them are $100k+, and more for when they retire. The cops? See firefighters. These programs are actually necessary cuts because of the over spending the Unionions and democrats have bloated their budget to buy votes with.

The war in Afghanistan was all about ENRON.. Remember that ENRON needed a pipeline to their Dabhol project in India... a 2 billion dollar white elephant.. and ENRON was leveraged out their A$$..

ENRON were HUGE supporters of Bush.

    (*)(*)(*)(*) that!

AMERICA IS A GREAT AND MORAL NATION AND DOESN'T ENGAGE IN NAKED AGGRESSION FOR THE FINANCIAL GAIN OF A SMALL GROUP OF RICH ELITES. THAT IS A MYTH AND THAT MYTH IS DESTROYING AMERICA because it breeds discontent, divisiveness and hate.

What do you think all those flags out on every porch in America MEANT? THEY WERE A SYMBOL OF A CALL FOR WAR. The American PEOPLE WANTED WAR IN AFGHANISTAN.

I'm so sick of all this pessimism towards "the system" that has done NOTHING but served us faithfully and provided every generation with a better life than the one that came before it.

I'm sick of conspiracy theories forming the basis of worldviews. I'm sick of people thinking that a tiny group of a couple thousand individuals can somehow affect the daily fates and lives of HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF FREE PEOPLE.

I'm sick of people who continue to think that a benevolent authoritarian Government can some how provide cradle to grave economic security.

I want the Federal Government off my lawn, out of my consumer choices and to leave my rich employers alone to continue to enrich both themselves and me along with them and I don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about Pizza Delivery Drivers, Burger Flippers or any other of the million and one menial laborers in America. They can eat (*)(*)(*)(*)ing cake.

If you don't plan out years in advance every detail of your professional and educational life, you are going to be left behind by the rest of us. I am in direct competition with every single human being on the earth and I intend to crush that competition ruthlessly and win. That is ALL that matters in this world the rest is just mere moral sentiments of the psychologically and physically weak.

The American People wanted war, and in war, there is always opportunism, think carpetbaggers and scalawags, there are always going to be corrupt opportunists who take advantage of war to make a quick buck. That's like saying that Railroad barons, carpetbaggers and scalawags are the ones who started the Civil War.

But they don't have the power to start them. The American People were angry at 9/11, saw that Osama Bin Laden lived in Afghanistan and the Taliban refused to crack down on fellow muslims for the sake of infidels and the American People got pissed and wiped a nation off the map.

That is what happens when you make it personal with Americans, like 9/11 did. Your nation gets wiped off the face of the earth and replaced with one more to our liking.

War is a legitimate instrument of revenge and justice on an international scale.

As far as I'm concerned, America is the closest thing to God on Earth and I support Godlike retribution against those that defy and attack us.

Well the US economy was already in a downward spiral so war provided a distraction.. as if the Afghan people had done 911.

Bush and ENRON were desperate for a pipeline to the Dabhol project.. Literally desperate and they tried to screw the Taliban with a low ball bid on transit fees.

I don't know if "traitor" is the right word. But I have a hard time reconciling a group (conservative/Tea Party) that was telling us for months what a big problem "uncertainty" is for the economy, deliberately taking an event (raising the debt ceiling) which has been done dozens of time without incident under Republican presidents, and creating a massive uncertainty about whether the US would default on its obligations.

If they think that uncertainty is so bad for the economy, why would they deliberately create just about the biggest uncertainty they possibly could?

it's scary how many conservatives consider liberalism = communism, as if somehow places like Canada and Norway, which are fairing far far better than the US, are communist countries.

A traitor with "where's the beef (WMD)" bull in a War on Terror might reject any notion that those who had a serious plan to save Iraq from the dilemma of the sanctions were the mis-appreciated pronoun people of the milieu he was talking about:

August, 1996: "More than 600,000 Iraqi children have died due to lack of food and medicine and as a result of the unjustifiable aggression (sanction) imposed on Iraq and its nation. The children of Iraq are our children. You, the USA, together with the Saudi regime are responsible for the shedding of the blood of these innocent children. Due to all of that, what ever treaty you have with our country is now null and void.
The treaty of Hudaybiyyah was cancelled by the messenger of Allah (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him) once Quraysh had assisted Bani Bakr against Khusa'ah, the allies of the prophet (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him). The prophet (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him) fought Quraysh and concurred Makka. He (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him) considered the treaty with Bani Qainuqa' void because one of their Jews publicly hurt one Muslim woman, one single woman, at the market." (Declaration of War against the Americans Occupying the Land of the Two Holy Places.)

March 1997: "Though Bin Ladin had promised Taliban leaders that he would be circumspect, he broke this promise almost immediately, giving an inflammatory interview to CNN in March 1997. The Taliban leader Mullah Omar promptly 'invited' Bin Ladin to move to Kandahar, ostensibly in the interests of Bin Ladin's own security but more likely to situate him where he might be easier to control.73
There is also evidence that around this time Bin Ladin sent out a number of feelers to the Iraqi regime, offering some cooperation. None are reported to have received a significant response. According to one report, Saddam Hussein's efforts at this time to rebuild relations with the Saudis and other Middle Eastern regimes led him to stay clear of Bin Ladin.74" (The 9/11 commission report, page 65-66)

July 1997, South Movement, "the path of Jihad and proper action": "Those who desire to face up to the Zionists conspiracies, intransigence, and aggressiveness must proceed towards the advance centers of capabilities in the greater Arab homeland and to the centers of the knowledge, honesty and sincerity with whole heartiness if the aim was to implement a serious plan to save others from their dilemma or to rely on those capable centers; well-known for their positions regarding the enemy, to gain precise concessions from it with justified maneuvers even if such centers including Baghdad not in agreement with those concerned, over the objectives and aims of the required maneuvers." (On the 29th anniversary of Iraq's national day (the 17th of July 1968 revolution). President Saddam Hussein made an important comprehensive and nation wide address) http://southmovement.alphalink.com.au/countries/Iraq/speech.htm

February 17, 1998: “While speaking at the Pentagon on February 17, 1998, President Bill Clinton warned of the ‘reckless acts of outlaw nations and an unholy axis of terrorists, drug traffickers and organized international criminals.’ These ‘predators of the twenty-first century,’ he said ‘will be all the more lethal if we allow them to build arsenals of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and missiles to deliver them. We simply cannot allow that to happen. There is no more clear example of this threat than Saddam Hussein's Iraq.’“ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Desert_Fox http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1998/02/17/transcripts/clinton.iraq/

One Iraq, Two Iraq, Three Iraq!

September 2001: "Ramsey Clark, former U.S. Attorney General...David Muller, South Movement, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia" http://www.workers.org/ww/2001/call1004.php

“On the basis of what we said about Iraq while confronting aggressions, the world now needs to abort the US aggressive schemes, including its aggression on the Afghan people, which must stop.
Again we say that when someone feels that he is unjustly treated, and no one is repulsing or stopping the injustice inflicted on him, he personally seeks ways and means for lifting that justice. Of course, not everyone is capable of finding the best way for lifting the injustice inflicted on him. People resort to what they think is the best way according to their own ideas, and they are not all capable of reaching out for what is beyond what is available to arrive to the best idea or means.
To find the best way, after having found their way to God and His rights, those who are inflicted by injustice need not to be isolated from their natural milieu, or be ignored deliberately, or as a result of mis-appreciation, by the officials in this milieu. They should, rather, be reassured and helped to save themselves, and their surroundings. It is only normal to say that punishment is a necessity in our world, because what is a necessity in the other world must also be necessary in our world on Earth. But, the punishment in the other world is faire and just, and the prophets and messengers of God (peace be upon them all) conducted punishment and called for it in justice, and not on the basis of suspicions and whims.” (Saddam Hussein Shabban 13, 1422 H. October 29, 2001.)

“Once again, we say that, injustice and the pressure that results from it on people lead to explosions. As explosions are not always organized, it is to be expected that they may harm those who make them and others. The events of September 11, should be seen on this basis, and on the basis of imbalanced reactions, on the part of governments accused of being democratic, if the Americans are sure that these were carried out by people from abroad.
To concentrate not on what is important, but rather on what is the most important, we say again that after having seen that the flames of any fire can expand to cover all the world, it first and foremost, needs justice based on fairness. The best and most sublime expression of this is in what we have learned from what God the Al Mighty ordered to be, or not to be.” (Saddam Hussein Shabban 13, 1422 H. October 29, 2001.)

Who are the magical “they” that Saddam said, “should, rather, be reassured and helped to save themselves, and their surroundings?”

    ******

Being stupid or ignorant about the right tax scheme does not make one a traitor. You have to prove that they want to return to the tax schemes of the aristocracy, taxing consumption (Fair Tax), no inheritance tax (more royalty), and reject real "Tea Party" Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine's arguments for progressive taxes on property to lessen the effects of an inequality and want a Flat Tax.

"Another means of silently lessening the inequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progression as they rise." (Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 28 Oct. 1785) http://press-pubs.uchicago.edu/founders/documents/v1ch15s32.html

"But the chief object of this progressive tax (besides the justice of rendering taxes more equal than they are) is, as already stated, to exterpate the overgrown influence arising from the unnatural law of primogeniture, and which is one of the principle sources of corruption at elections." (Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, Everyman's Library, Alfred A. Knopf, 1994, p, 221)

Liberalism is communism light. Prove it wrong. All one need do is read the Communist Manifesto to see this is true. Actions speak louder than words.

Norway and Canada do well fiscally due to CONSERVATIVE fiscal policy. ;)

It looks that way to you. That doesn't mean it's real. In fact, your bigoted, unsupoorted, and ridiculous assertions are a waste of time. You can not support even one of the three.
