    the left pushed back against that from the very beginning, pushing instead for demilitarizing the police and in fact adding funding for having health care professional handle some of the case work when needed, people trained to handle those kinda cases

    Conservatives along with liberals made these things illegal a long time ago. Go out and arrest some people if they break the law. And don't release them within the hour like we currently do to killers in some cities.

    they would not get released if prosecutors asked for bail to be denied... prosecutors have gotten lazy and only try to set bails too high for a person to pay... but times have changed, external groups are bailing out people now, that is new for the most part, left and right - used to be only the rich needed to be denied bail

    I don't think that is true. Many cultures remain static for centuries.

    Cultures rise and fall. Ours is just falling to woke barbarians

    people against equal rights will always be there, be no need for woke if the right would just support equal rights for all and stop fighting it

    that said, I agree, the woke side going too far too, but it's all caused by the fight against equal rights

    When was the last time our culture fell?

    Do you think our culture in the US 20 years ago is the same as it was 200 years ago?

    Changing culture doesn't always mean it's falling.

    Strange because to me, whenever someone uses the word "woke" in a serious manner, I tend to just mentally tune out from them and roll my eyes. That even goes for my friends and family.

    Nope. The FBI needs to be reigned in and reformed. It should not a political arm for a political party. It is a law enforcement agency.

    It was quite political under J. Edger Hoover. He kept a file cabinet which had dirt he could use to blackmail public figures. That was wrong. The same can be said when it is used to harass the political opposition.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but you seem to have no problem with your kids being able to access kiddie porn at school. I've said from the jump that no lib will ever condemn this filth being peddled in schools. At least you're honest enough to say it openly.

    The word "woke" has become synonymous with the core-essence, beliefs, and behaviors of hyperliberal, radical, America-hating, Socialist/Anarchist-wannabe's. They eat, sleep, and breathe an airtight belief-system based on the catechism that the United States is racist, fascist, and criminally capitalist!

    Now, in describing these creatures, instead of having to write all of that out, it's much simpler and to-the-point to refer to them as "woke"....

    The conservatives dominated the dark ages. There is no debate about the fact that powers who opposed change dominated the culture during the dark ages.
