This is a nationwide problem, no one is EXEMPT from the impact it is having on us so WE must AGREE and JOINTLY support the REGULATIONS that will ENSURE that criminals and crazies CANNOT obtain firearms.

One of the REASON why we LACK the DATA necessary is because the NRA and the GOP deliberately STOPPED that data collection. The CDC was BANNED from collating and analyzing firearm deaths. There is no MANDATORY reporting of gun deaths by law enforcement agencies nationwide. This SKEWS the data and feeds into the DISINFORMATION being used by the GOP and NRA that the "problem" is "inner cities" because there is insufficient DATA reporting the RURAL gun deaths.

We need to be HONEST about what is actually happening EVERYWHERE. The crime rates have more to do with POVERTY than RACE. The FIREARM deaths have more to do with UNREGULATED access to guns than it does with WHO is using them. When a woman in a household with a gun is in many times greater danger than she is in a household WITHOUT a gun that means that the PRESENCE of unregulated guns is the PROBLEM.

Scientifically sound policies are the way to go and the MINORITY that OPPOSE them CANNOT be allowed to continue to TERRORIZE We the People.

If the NRA was actually doing as you allege then WHERE are the NRA "gun safety" measures that PREVENT criminals and crazies from obtaining guns? How much has the NRA spent on PROMOTING the Universal Background Checks that 88% of We the People support?
