    How much of this is he doing because he wants to, and how much because he (legally) HAS to?

    Not that I really hate the guy, but he does make some VERY controversal decisions.

    Gangs routinely use SKS and AK fully auto's. Easily gotten illegally from overseas which ARE military ASSAULT WEAPONS, not just look-a-likes.

    They don't want him arresting illegals and turning them over to ICE unless they have committed some crime.

    I don't know. I have a real (*)(*)(*)(*)ing problem with common citizens arming themselves and dictating the movements of others. It's that whole constitutionality thing.

    How about this? How about we enforce our current laws and not let some sweaty jowled (*)(*)(*)(*)er pitching a tent over more guns solving the whole world's problems?

    On Friday, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies raided both Parks and Sons Inc. locations in El Mirage, and Youngstown, AZ. The raids came after a six month-long investigation tracked illegal alien identity thieves to the trash collection business.

    Seven suspects were arrested. One had an outstanding warrant, two were targets of the investigation, and four more were discovered and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. All are in the country illegally.

    Apparently, just before deputies arrived, a cell phone call tipped off the illegal aliens to the raid, as some hid in dumpsters, and others had to be pulled from the barbed wire fence surrounding the properties.

    Following the worksite raid, Sheriff Joe Arpaio made the following statement: “A lot of critics and politicians seem to forget that in these identity theft cases, we have real victims who have had some form of their identification stolen. They always throw up the argument that illegal immigration is a victimless crime; ask those who are victims of identity theft about that.”

    This latest, was the 35th such investigation conducted by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office into businesses harboring illegal aliens. The raids not only highlight the number of unscrupulous businesses which make a practice of hiring those not authorized to work in this country, but also the growing epidemic of identity theft against American citizens.

    To date, MCSO has apprehended 385 illegal aliens in workplace raids, in and around Phoenix.

    With 1 in 5 Americans out of work, we simply cannot afford to allow one job go to an illegal alien. The issue of illegal immigration is now a fight for the survival of the American family.

    As I always say…For every illegal alien with a job, there is an American without one.


    He has made hundreds of raids since then.

    Do you know how much training a hundred hours is? I learned to fly a single engine plane in 45 hours and that was (*)(*)(*)(*) hard too. An hour of range time is a lot of shooting let alone 100 hours.

    I didn't say anything about one hundred hours. I honestly have no idea how many hours it takes or how many hours a typical professional spends training.

    Here's an idea. Since we want to emulate semi civilized people now, as a peace gesture to the Taliban, let's invite them over here to train us in how to manufacture guns and kill one another.
