    Well we can assume man didn't cause them in the past, and we can assume man does not have much of an impact today, to many variables. Thats the problem.

    Of course they are. We are currently in what is called the modern warming period, which will end just like all the previous warming periods like the Medieval and Roman warming periods which were warmer. In fact it has been cooling since the end of the Holocene optimum 8,000 years ago.

    It has been warming rapidly since 1970 and it is warmer now than it was during the Holocene optimum 8000 years ago. See the graph on post #52 which shows the reconstructed temperature of the Holocene.
    That graph ends at the year 2000 and it has warmed at least 0.3 degrees C since the year 2000 or about 0.5 degrees C. above the Holocene optimum. This warming period is not like the Medieval or Roman
    warming periods. Those warming periods did not exhibit the kind of rapid, globally synchronized warming that we are seeing today. Those warming periods were more regional than global. There is a cooling trend of 0.1 degree Celsius per 1000 years that is caused by the Milankovitch cycles that would be gradually cooling the earth in the present time if humans weren't on the planet burning fossil fuels.
