As it stands, is there a single SHRED of evidence that the vaccine prevents transmission?

Well that isn't correct since this is a respiratory virus that will be with us yearly just like other coronavirus caused colds. It is now an endemic, not a pandemic as delta proves.

Also the inoculations do not 'kill off' the virus since it isn't alive in the first place. It stops the virus from being able to connect to a cell thus not allowing it to program the cell to produce more virus but as has been proven the inoculations wane after time both allowing high viral loads and even death in the vaccinated and they do not create immunity memory.

Now those vaccinated dying are the same demographic that kills the unvaccinated. Older with many morbidities.

The chance of dying of Covid is extremely low if you are under 50 or in good health over 50. Requiring workers, those from 18 to 65 is pure insanity unless they have good reason and IMHO driven by profit.

Geez Louis man if you are confused as to what endemic and pandemic mean leave them out because honestly that was the point at which I stopped reading your post. Incorrectly using "big" words does not give you any credibility with people who know what the "big" words mean.

I believe the viral load of non-Delta COVID is lower among people who have been vaccinated.

But.......is the point really whether the gov misspoke or is the point for all people to get vaccinated? You agree all people, except for extreme extenuating circumstances, should get vaccinated, right?

As far as I know (feel free to object if I’m wrong), I haven’t heard anything that vaccine stops the spread but I’ve read plenty that it minimizes chance of severe symptoms

Are you really that naive? It's a funeral home. The more people who do not get vaccinated, the more people who die, and thus increase their business.

You have to wake up and face some hard facts.

    [IMG]https://www.realclearpolitics.com › video › 2021 › 08 › 06 › cdc_director_vaccines_no_longer_prevent_you_from_spreading_covid.html#!
Fully vaccinated people who get a COVID-19 "breakthrough" infection can spread the virus to others even if they are not symptomatic, Centers for Disease Control Director Rochelle Walensky told CNN ...

Getting vaxxed does not prevent you from catching and spreading the virus. If you are vaxxed you can catch the virus from someone who is clearly ill, or, from a vaxxed person with a silent or very mild case that they have mistaken for seasonal allergies, so they continue to report to work and attend social functions.

Death numbers in Sept are up nearly two and half times over a year ago, despite Americans going from zero vaxxed to nearly 90% vaxxed or with natural immunity, because vaxxed are catching it and spreading it, and because many thousands of unvaxxed illegals are being seeded into our cities without warning the leaders of the community so they can determine if they are infected and keep them isolated from others if they are. Thousands and thousands of Americans are dying because the Biden Administration's CDC has not ordered the Southern Border closed. No one is in charge, they are all working on "messaging".

Employers now speaking with their wallets as they now begin terminating those who refuse to vaccinate, thereby placing all employees in jeopardy.

The CDC disagreed until they kept changing their definition.

You can believe their BS excuse for the change if you want. I don't.

It looks like the vaccine was highly effective against the wild type in preventing transmission. That's why we had covid almost beat in June -- until the delta variant arrived.

In the meantime, Pfizer/BioNtech are working on an altered vaccine against delta.

    https://fortune.com/2021/08/09/covid-vaccines-delta-variant-vaccine-biontech-pfizer/

We may have this available by the end of the year. If the altered vaccine doesn't prevent delta transmission either, then you can criticize. Of course, we may also get additional variants. It will be a game of catch up.

I’m not for forced vaccines but my wife has had the covid and I’ve slept next to her and kissed her for the last week without getting it. I think it works

Correct. The vaccines give the immune system a head start in developing antibodies. So the virus doesn't have as much time to do harm. While delta infectees have a higher viral load, those that are vaccinated still have a lower rate of hospitalization and death. The vaccines don't work as well as they did with the alpha strain but be they do work.

Oh BS it IS a mandate. You have no ''choice'' it's an ultimatum.

A real choice would be I can choose to be left alone and do neither.

And is that what this vaccine is doing, nooo.. How many variants do we know of and how many do we not know of... Nice bait-and-switch but that's not what's happening with this vaccine...

It's due to the mechanics. An infected but fully vaccinated person who is of ordinary health (ie, not a cancer patient or similar), will not produce the same viral load as an unvaccinated person. That in turn significantly reduces their likelihood of spreading it to others.

Try thinking of it this way - It will reduce Delta level contagiousness, to ordinary flu level contagiousness. It will mean that you have to have prolonged 'heavy' exposure (like living with someone) to acquire the virus from a vaccinated person - whereas an unvaccinated person can be infected by Delta just walking past a stranger in the street, as it were.

Americans are nearly 90% vaxxed? Surely you can't be serious!

What's the EVIDENCE that the vaccines vastly reduce the odds of contracting COVID?

    According to what evidence?

What's the evidence that it was almost beat in June specifically due to the vaccine protecting against transmission?
