Yes, you don't understand communion because you think it's symbolism. That's why non-Catholics are not permitted to take communion. Only if you believe that communion is the actual body and blood of Christ should you take it. My autistic brother would not be capable of comprehending that.
Among other things. Even assuming that it turns into flesh and blood, I don't see why I have to eat it.
Limbo got shut down by the pope. They're going back to hell now, like the original Christians thought.
And Hell originated in Greek mythology where Hades was the God of the underworld and the Christians adopted that in Revelations where "God" would throw Hades into a lake of fire. This was, of course, early on in the Christian religion where they decided they wanted people other than Jews to support their religious institution. It gets so confusing when these different world religions overlap. The Hebrews borrowed from Mesopotamian mythology and then the Christians borrowed from Greek mythology.
Oh, I know it, I don't understand it. I don't understand how your diet changes who lives more or whatnot.
Very interesting study, it would add up. But then you present the info like its a bad thing? And your thesis presupposes that autistics possess reduced intelligence. If you considered that they inhabit a sharper more specialised form of intelligence, then tendancies to atheism is evidence for the better. Unlike religion, which is evidence for mental illness anyway, the god part of the brain relates to your own dormant 'supernatural' abilities, not the ability to worship some beardy bloke floating around in spacein his chocolate covered teapot
Then I guess I am glad I am autistic. I don't base my life on a fairy tale. I don't embrace lies. I am not hearded like sheep. I do not hear voices in my head.
