Definitely not my field of expertise. I would also say that I know absolutely nothing about the mechanics of a "Kenmore" dryer, either.

    Hopefully it will go well.

Well I'm sorry, but if you propose that the solution to a problem is something that is either indemonstrable or demonstrably false, then there is perfect justification there to tear your proposition down, because it is offering a falsehood as an answer. You know what the return is? "I don't know, let's keep looking". There's your replacement. It replaces a false or unverified answer with a true answer. And even better, while both "god did it" and "I don't know" are effectively non-explanatory placeholder answers, only one of them will readily vacate the spot when a new, better answer comes along.

What are you trying to compare? Often, relativism doesn't get you anywhere. You cannot say, "my bad answer is equally valid to your non-answer, therefore we use my bad answer".

Or, you know, a rationalist. "I don't know the answer, but I won't accept yours" is perfectly valid when your answer has no backing evidence that holds up to any scrutiny, or has been effectively proven wrong. And that applies to all religion - it has all either not been proven, or has been proven wrong.

Have you been reading this thread? There's plenty of answers - you just don't want to acknowledge them. And anyway, even if there were none, there is absolutely nothing wrong or childish about "we dont have an answer but yours is wrong". Sorry to burst your bubble.

Well I have to concede on that one. The hidden question in the title of the thread... You got me on that one. Now what was your reasoning for posting the same url on another thread in this forum as an invitation instead of a directive?
