ANy cop who doesnt partake, BUT, tolerates illegal behavior from his co workers, is JUST AS BAD AS THE COP BRTEAKING THE LAW


If you have 10 cops in a police station.

Nine of them are amazing people. Helps their neighbors, coaches the local little league team. upstanding members in church and community, and do EVERYTHING right. One of them is a total arse. violates peoples civil rights all the time. plants evidence. Etc Etc.

The other 9 cops know about it, but do nothing about it.


ALL TEN policeman are BAD.

Whats wrong with that logic?

Like I said, some people on this forum believe that all policemen are bad. That is what is wrong with that logic.

 

What is wrong with your logic is the claim that all the other 10 necessarily know about the one bad one .. and further - even if say one did know about it - they may not be in a position to do something about it .. life is not always so simple.

That said - the "One bad Apple" claim is preposterous nonsense on steroids ... it is more like one good one in a sea of bad apples.

Very little happens in a police department in this fashion without everyone being aware. I have known MANY police officers over the years. They always know who the "bad apple" is.

I know several cops who walk around with what they call a "throw away" gun. So in case they shoot someone without cause, they have a gun they can plant on the scene. i mean WTF. Seriously.

And if only one knows about it, then they report them.

The problem then is, the OTHER cops will then leave this guy out in the cold. If he calls for backup. he likely wont get it. Police culture is in a very bad place right now.

But being put in huge and complex housing authority without even basic concept and terms, as housing authority he is an idiot. He didn't even prep for a congressional inquiry.

All he knows is that it is his job from his Republican Authority is to cut their housing, whether the subjects are sick 70 year old women or children. Goverment subsidies for housing, regardless of reason, is a sin!

If you follow conservative behaviour (as opposed to rhetoric) you will notice that this view of god fits perfectly with the 'take credit but never responsibility' attitude. Other people are responsible for bad things, never them. They only get credit for success, never reponsibility for failure.

Everyone on earth could be hypocrites, and the obvious reason prominent republicans are getting infected would still be obvious. So that was a useless red herring and a waste of my time.
