Every time the subject of illegal immigration comes up, that is my main go to answer. And then I get a lot of excuses for why employers hire them.

 

It is tax payer funded ethnic cleansing. Whites have given up their communities, towns, and cities and it is only getting worse. Any resistance is racist.

 

Yes, really. I don't care who the employers are, be they Trump or a guy hiring an illegal to do yard work. When I was living in CA they came up with a law requiring Home Depot, Lowes, etc to have comfort spaces for the day laborers who were waiting for work. Those spaces had to have water, bathrooms and air conditioning, it's insane.

The only way the countries these people are escaping from are ever going to change is if they stay there and fight for it. Running to America doesn't change the corruption and other failures of those countries.

I come to the conclusion a few years back, going after employers is never going to happen. Both party politicians knows that our economy needs them to function. At least that is the conclusion I take from the lack of enforcing our laws.
And if an immigrant lived here for 2 yrs, could apply for citizenship.

So, I come to another conclusion. Our laws are a problem with what our economy needs in regards to immigration.
The real question then is, how do we deal with immigrant workers that our economy obviously needs?

For most of our nations history, we didn't really have immigration laws, we let in most everyone who wanted to come.

 

You really have to be out of touch with reality to compare a comment from Clinton, 5 years after her defeat, to what Trump has done.

Raising hundreds of millions of dollars for a national propaganda campaign to overturn the election, organizing protests around the country including one that led to a riot on Capitol Hill where Trump supporters wanted to kill the Vice President and other elected officials.

If the justice system had been corrupt in this country, just like in Russia or Venezuela, we would be under an authoritarian regime controlled by your guru today.

So don't make me believe that Clinton = Trump.

 

One way to do it is with work visas. If farmers need workers to pick their crops then we can issue temporary work visas that are only good for the season and then they have to go back. Failure to go back would result in not getting another visa. Stuff like that might work. When I lived in El Paso the brother of one of my neighbors was a Mexican national who drove long haul trucks in the US. When he would come by he was always careful about making sure he got out of the country on time because his job depended on being able to come back into the US and make more deliveries.

" Most middle class and poor Americans don't want to encourage jobs lost for them and their families by rewarding people coming across the border illegally.

 

So why dont we jail or penalize companies for hiring them?

What's wrong with having mixed communities?

We actually have plenty of people who can work and do those jobs. We don't need illegals for that.

The problem is many younger people don't want to work. Kids today are spoiled and lazy and many single moms would rather have welfare. Many would rather have higher paying or clean jobs but not all.

If American's actually tried to give these jobs to Americans who need them, are homeless or teenagers that may not know how to get a job I'm sure we could get them filled.

Absolutely agree. In fact I think that’s the most effective way to address it. My solution would be to impose massive fines on any company employing an illegal. Say $1,000,000 per illegal found working for their company. Then enforce those fines. Soon enough the businesses will realize that the cheap labor isn’t worth the risk of getting caught and they’ll stop hiring them.

Then you have to take away any and all government assistance. No access to government services. No drivers licenses. Nothing.

Most of them will go home on their own.
