can’t say this guy gives a crap about the constitution at all. Just a piece of paper in his opinion. And inflation? Guarantee he has zero care about that too. Let representatives have a say? Nope can’t have none of that. He’s just as worthless as Trump if not worse. Probably had that idiot VP screaming in his ear the whole time to do it too.

This doesn’t fix anything. It compounds a problem to the tax payer. It further creates inflation. And it keeps costs for college high. What is this accomplishing other than buying votes? Literally nothing and it’s no surprise he’s doing it during an election year. Couldn’t win election one without bribing people with COVID money and here he is again bribing for votes. This guy makes me vomit with how he treats OUR DAMN MONEY

You mean buying votes. This helps no one. It makes a generation of dependency and teaches them nothing about accountability for their own actions and agreements. It does nothing to address the root cause of high costs at all. If anything it will cause costs to go up because there will be an expectation of the government to keep on doing it and if the government will pay for it then why would they care how much it costs? This whole thing will cause inflation in schools and in other markets but the schools will see it first.

As a taxpayer who payed for my daughter's college out of pocket, I 100% do not support this. Let's go Brandon.

Well of course it helps lots of people a whole lot. But it's true it doesn't fix the root cause of the problem. It's like donating food to Africa. You may save today's African children from starvation for awhile, but it doesn't fix what got them there in the first place. Doesn't mean you shouldn't give food to starving children, only that it's not enough and more needs to be done.

**** scotus, though. They deserve no respect at all.

I didn’t expect everyone to agree with me. And in NOV , I assume you will vote for the other guy. That’s how democracy works.

He didn’t break the law. What he said is he found a way to implement his policy that SCOTUS can’t block it. in another word he found a legal way to do it.

No he didn’t. SCTUS blocked his student debt relief. And the Biden administration went back and split the policy in multiple different way and did exact same thing Biden administration wanted to do, but use different agency, different programs to do it.

This happens in every administration. SCTUS comes and tells administration “you can’t do this way” and administration find different way to do it.

But none of these matter to you. you will say “Biden defied SC” because bashing Biden is the objective.

For me or 81 million Americans who voted for Biden, we really don’t give a sh%%% what MAGA or FOX news says.

This isn’t a donation like you speak of. The starving in Africa didn’t sign a contract to starve. That’s way different.

the mentality you display for SCOTUS shows you have a lack of respect for the constitution as does everyone anymore but you can’t say you support the constitution if you think that way.

The court didn't say "you can't do it this way". The court said he (the president) doesn't have the authority to do it.

He still doesn't have the authority to do it.

And you think this was democracy? As per the constitution who controls the purse? Did the purse holders get to vote on this?

As per the constitution the executive powers do not give him this power. And the courts also determine that and he still done it.

to me this is an impeachable offense

Sure did and I donated it right back. I also could have made more money on unemployment during COVID instead I chose to work for less money. Didn’t expect that did you. I’m not a mooch on the system! And I never will be

Of course he won't and his followers will never disagree. For all the whaling and gnashing of the teeth they did about anything Trump ever did, they're perfectly willing to go along with anything their dear leader tells them to.

I agree with the concept of having a constitution that enshrines rights. But our constitution isn't perfect, and our system is broken, and part of the reason it is broken is SCOTUS and their terrible decisions. Part of the reason scotus makes terrible decisions is our system was set up poorly to select people to make such decisions.

Those with student loan debt were led to believe that they had to get educated and take on this debt to be successful. This didn't really turn out to be correct, and our higher educational system is problematic and failing people. Getting these people out of debt improves their individual problems, but it doesn't fix what got them there in the first place. Some of it is self-correcting though, there is more skepticism today about the usefulness of a college degree without a concrete plan on how to use it effectively. But certainly much more could be done to help in the long-term.

Because my wife cashed it. And yes you can donate to taxes. Ask your tax rep… I doubt you would even look for something like that after asking that question
