That scenario would probably give the Dems the best chance to defeat Trump.
    Definitely a hail mary.
    But, the Dems need one.

Probably would be their best chance. I just don't think Biden's wife is going to let that happen.

I'm not sure if Harris could beat Trump or would even have a better chance than Biden. Should they replace him on the ticket, though? Yes. Him and Trump both.

I don't think Haris can beat Trump. I think she has the lowest chance of doing so of all Democrats besides Biden. So at least she is better than him, but if they really want to win they should pick anybody else. They won't, because they don't want to win so much as advance their individual career opportunities within their party and come back in 4 years.

Few Democrats will step forward for the job because they know if they lose they are done forever. And those who could win and are stepping forward are too progressive for the DNC to the point that they would prefer Trump.

Biden is just too far gone to run the country. He can’t name his secretary of defense so he just refers to him as ‘the black man.’

BIDEN: "Look at the heat I'm getting because I, I named a, uh, the, uh, secretary of defense — the black man"

I agree. That would be fun to watch.

Even more fun, would be Biden dropping out and Harris remaining at the bottom of the ticket, or tossed off the ticket.

What is VP Trump going to do?

The Democrats loose the $100 million if anyone but Joe or Cackles runs..

I agree, the Dems are done for this year. It's best to focus on the future instead of wasting talent on a hopeless, long-shot run in 2024. With Biden's poor debate performance and his trailing in the swing states, it already didn't look good. Now, with Trump capitalizing on the failed assassination attempt, it is a done deal. The stars are aligned for Trump, the Dems should just accept it and move on.

Harris can’t beat Trump. Nor would I want her too. God help us having to listen to her for 4 years. At this point it’s over. This election is Trumps to lose. On the bright side we won’t have to listen to Trump and his sheeple whine for another 4 years about another “ stolen” election.

If Biden pulls off another 'most votes in history,' you'll find millions of people screaming about a stolen election.

Not a bad idea. But Biden is not going to be one of two Presidents in our history, to resign the office. You already know the name of the other one.

We cannot afford a bloodbath. We need to go into the convention united behind someone, and Harris is the only candidate that makes that happen, and that only happens of its Joe's idea.

He wants to overthrow the Constitution. He lies like a dog. You sure he's a great choice, or do you just agree with him?

Do you think Harris is really the strongest candidate?

She doesn't seem the most competent to me.

Not the best chance, but a chance. The best chance has to do with messaging and that comes from the DNC and whoever is running a campaign. Harris does not poll well among independents as much as Biden does. Harris polls better with younger voters and Black voters than Biden does. Women poll better with Biden than Harris. And the never-Trumpers will probably vote for Trump rather than Harris or RFK Jr if Harris is the DP nominee.

But the Dems are in chaos right now, and they need to get their act together by the time their convention starts and afterward until the election. That is the key and that is where those 4% to 6% undecided voters will be coveted to. Trump is losing ground with younger voters in the swing states, and they are pushing for Harris, who would be more progressive than Biden is, especially when it comes to Israel, for instance. The celebs and some of the DP significant figures are also using the opportunity with Biden to push their agenda under the disguise of trying to get Biden to drop out. Meanwhile the corporate media is loving this because it gets them more clicks, more likes, etc, which makes them money.

The reality is the strongest candidate is Michelle Obama but she is not going to run. The other strong candidate is the WV Senator Muchin, but he is not going to run. Newsome, Harris, and others poll well within parts of the DP, but not with independent voters. Independent voters are the key to winning the WH, not those who are members of the Democratic Party or the GOP.

Nah, making her the incumbent won't help her at a general election and might hurt her. She won't have enough time to do anything but look like she doesn't belong.

He is better off doing what LBJ did and just announce he won't run. Harris is still the most likley candidate, but the party may be able to choose another, more electable candidate.
